Oral-B Moldable Night Guard for Teeth Grinding — 2-Pack Microwave-Fit, Scope Mint Flavour, Quick Custom Protection

Oral-B's moldable nighttime dental guard is a two-pack, microwave-fit mouthguard that creates a custom protective barrier for teeth clenching and grinding in about three minutes.

Designed for people who grind or clench their teeth while asleep, this Oral-B mouth guard uses a pliable thermoplastic material that softens quickly in a microwave to form a tailored fit around your upper teeth. The set includes two guards, an impression tray to assist positioning during fitting, and a compact storage case for hygienic keeping between uses. The guards are flavored with a subtle scope mint to improve comfort during insertion and breathing.

How does the at-home molding process work?

The guard is molded by briefly heating it in a microwave to soften the material, placing it over the upper teeth, and biting gently to shape the inner surface. The whole procedure takes only a few minutes and yields a fit that conforms closely to your tooth contours.

• Heat for the recommended short interval to soften the thermoplastic
• Use the included impression tray to center the guard while molding
• Bite gently and hold until the material cools and sets
• Trim or adjust if needed for comfort and retention

Will this guard stop upper and lower teeth from contacting?

Yes — once molded to your upper teeth, the Oral-B night guard forms a durable cushion that prevents direct upper-to-lower tooth contact during grinding or clenching. It is intended to protect tooth enamel and reduce mechanical wear, though coverage may not extend to far-back molars for some jaw shapes.

• Creates a continuous buffer along the biting surfaces it covers
• Helps absorb and disperse grinding forces during sleep
• May require repositioning for full rear-to-rear coverage on some users
• Two guards let you switch while one is cleaned or drying

How do I care for and store the guard?

Cleaning is simple: rinse after use and periodically wash with mild soap and water. Store each moldable guard in the provided hard case to protect it from dust and accidental deformation between nights.

• Rinse thoroughly after each night to remove saliva and debris
• Occasional gentle brushing with non-abrasive soap keeps surfaces fresh
• Avoid hot water, which can remold or distort the guard
• Use the included case to keep guards sanitary and travel-ready

What makes the Oral-B version different from other boil-and-bite guards?

Oral-B combines an expedited molding routine with accessory pieces and mint flavoring for improved comfort and ease of use. The guard is made in the USA and packaged as a two-count set so you have a spare while one is being cleaned or adjusted.

• Manufactured in the USA to consistent quality standards
• Includes impression tray and a storage case for convenience
• Scope mint flavor improves initial fit comfort and breathability
• Quick three-minute molding saves time compared with longer heat cycles

Who is this for? This Oral-B moldable night guard is aimed at adults who experience nocturnal teeth grinding or clenching and want an affordable, fast-fitting mouthguard they can shape at home. It suits sleepers who prefer a removable, easy-to-clean option and who value having a spare guard on hand. If you need specialized dental appliances for complex bite or TMJ issues, consult a dental professional before use; otherwise this guard offers a straightforward protective solution for everyday bruxism-related wear.
