Orbit Smart Sprinkler Controller — 12-Zone App-Controlled, Weatherproof Irrigation Hub

Orbit B-hyve Smart Indoor/Outdoor Sprinkler Controller is a weather-aware, app-controlled irrigation hub that manages up to 12 independent zones for lawns, gardens, and drip systems.

Manage landscape watering from your phone or at the controller with a durable, weatherproof device designed for homes with multiple irrigation zones. The B-hyve 12-zone controller replaces manual timers and traditional controllers by combining customizable schedules, remote access, and weather-adaptive adjustments to reduce waste and simplify routine watering across lawns, flower beds, vegetable patches, and drip lines.

How does the B-hyve make daily watering easier?

The controller centralizes irrigation control so you can program, start, pause, or adjust any of the 12 zones from the mobile app or locally. It stores distinct schedules per zone so different plant types and system components receive the correct run times.

• Create zone-specific schedules for lawns, beds, and drip systems
• Start or stop watering remotely from smartphone or tablet
• Run manual cycles or set recurring automatic programs
• Save multiple program presets for seasonal use

What weather intelligence does it use to save water?

B-hyve adjusts irrigation timing based on local weather forecasts and conditions to avoid unnecessary cycles after rain or during cooler periods. Those adjustments help reduce overwatering without you having to monitor local forecasts constantly.

• Forecast-based schedule adjustments reduce needless watering
• Automatic rain delays triggered by predicted or measured precipitation
• Seasonal adjustments adapt run times as conditions change
• Option to disable weather adjustments for full manual control

Can I install this controller indoors and outdoors?

Yes — the unit is built for flexible mounting in garages, sheds, or on exterior walls thanks to a weatherproof housing. Wiring terminals support up to twelve valves and standard irrigation wiring, and the enclosure safeguards electronics from the elements when mounted outdoors.

• Weather-resistant case for outdoor wall installation
• Also suitable for indoor locations like utility rooms or garages
• Standard 24VAC irrigation valve connections for up to 12 zones
• Simple wall-mount design with clear terminal labeling for installers

What controls and features help me manage a multi-zone system?

The app-driven interface gives you per-zone control, run-time customization, and easy diagnostics so you can monitor performance and troubleshoot faster. Built-in scheduling tools and manual cycle commands allow precise coordination of sprinkler heads and drip lines across the property.

• Per-zone run times, start times, and frequency settings
• Manual start/stop and rain-delay controls in the app
• Zone naming and grouping for quick identification
• Two-year limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship

Who this is for: The Orbit B-hyve 12-zone controller fits homeowners, small-property managers, and landscaping pros who need centralized, smart control of multiple irrigation circuits. It benefits properties with mixed landscape types — turf, beds, shrubs, and drip irrigation — where individual zone programming and weather-adaptive saving are needed to simplify care and improve water efficiency.
