ORIJEN Fit & Trim Grain-Free Dry Cat Food, 1.81 kg Bag — High-Protein WholePrey Formula

ORIJEN Fit & Trim is a grain-free, high-protein dry cat food crafted to support lean muscle and peak physical condition using WholePrey animal ingredients and a freeze-dried liver coating for irresistible flavor.

Designed for adult cats with active lifestyles or those needing weight management support, ORIJEN Fit & Trim blends fresh and raw animal ingredients to mirror a cat’s natural diet. This 4 lb bag emphasizes rich animal proteins, organ and bone inclusions, and no added grain ingredients, delivering complete nutrition with nutrient-dense components that cats find palatable.

How does ORIJEN Fit & Trim support lean muscle and conditioning?

The formula concentrates on animal-based proteins and appropriate fat levels to help cats maintain lean mass while staying energized. High-quality fresh and raw meats supply the amino acids necessary for muscle maintenance without relying on grain-derived carbohydrates.

• Up to 85% animal ingredients by composition from fresh or raw sources
• First five ingredients are meats and organs like free-run chicken and whole herring
• Balanced protein-to-fat ratio tailored for adult cat metabolism

What makes the WholePrey approach different from other cat foods?

WholePrey means the recipe includes not only meat but also organs, cartilage and bone components, supplying naturally occurring vitamins, minerals and trace nutrients. This approach reduces reliance on synthetic additives and mirrors the varied parts of prey that cats instinctively evolved to eat.

• Organ meats provide concentrated micronutrients and flavor
• Cartilage and bone sources contribute natural minerals for overall nutrition
• Fewer processed fillers, focusing on biologically appropriate ingredients

Is this food suitable for cats with grain sensitivities?

ORIJEN Fit & Trim contains no added grain ingredients, making it suitable for cats that do better on grain-free diets. Note the product is produced in a facility that also handles grains; owners concerned about trace exposure may want to consult packaging or their veterinarian.

• Formulated without added grains such as wheat, corn, soy or tapioca
• Ideal for cats whose caretakers prefer grain-free nutrition
• Manufactured in a shared facility—read labels if severe sensitivity exists

Why do cats prefer the freeze-dried liver coating?

The freeze-dried liver adds a concentrated burst of savory aroma and taste that appeals to feline palates, enhancing acceptance and excitement at mealtime. Beyond flavor, the coating delivers nutrient-dense liver in a preserved form that complements the kibble.

• Freeze-dried liver intensifies taste and smell to boost palatability
• Provides additional natural micronutrients and protein
• Light coating preserves crunchy kibble texture while increasing appeal

Who is this for: ORIJEN Fit & Trim is intended for adult cats that need help maintaining lean body condition, active indoor or outdoor cats, and owners seeking a biologically appropriate, meat-forward, grain-free diet. If your cat requires specialized veterinary nutrition for medical conditions, consult your veterinarian before switching foods.
