osvdo Blue UV Light Flying Insect Trap — Plug-in with 4 Refills, Quiet Adhesive Bug Catcher

The OSVDO Blue UV Light Flying Insect Trap is a plug-in, adhesive-based bug catcher with a 365–395nm blue UV LED and four sticky refill cartridges for quiet, hands-free control of gnats, fruit flies and small flying pests.

Designed for indoor use where overhead lights are dim or off, this compact unit lures light-loving insects with a targeted blue/UV spectrum and holds them on ultra-tacky adhesive pads. It runs constantly from any standard 110–220V outlet and swaps pads in seconds, so you can maintain continuous protection without sprays or screens. Ideal for kitchens, pantries, laundry rooms and other areas prone to small fliers, the OSVDO trap focuses on convenience and low maintenance.

How does the blue UV light attract gnats and fruit flies?

The trap emits a concentrated 365–395nm wavelength that many small flying insects find irresistible, especially in moderate to dark environments. When insects fly toward the light, they land on the adhesive cartridge and are trapped without noise or chemicals.

• 365–395nm blue/UV LED specifically tuned for light-loving pests
• Works best in low-light rooms or away from competing bright lighting
• Placed at eye level or open sightlines improves capture rates

How simple is changing the sticky cartridge and how long do refills last?

Cartridge replacement is designed to be mess-free and fast: lift out the used pad and snap in a fresh one. Each included adhesive pad typically lasts 4–8 weeks depending on insect pressure and room conditions, so the four refills provide months of coverage for most households.

• Tool-free, snap-in cartridge swap in seconds
• Expected pad life: about 1–2 months under normal conditions
• Replace sooner if the surface fills with insects or loses tackiness

Where should I place the OSVDO trap for best performance?

Position the unit in open, unobstructed spots at eye level and away from direct sunlight or bright lamps. Keep it clear of corners or furniture that could shadow the LED—an unobstructed line of sight increases the number of attracted insects.

• Mount near kitchens, fruit bowls, drains, or trash areas prone to small flies
• Avoid direct daytime sunlight or competing bright fixtures
• Plug into any standard 110–220V outlet for continuous operation

Is the trap quiet and safe to use around people and pets?

The OSVDO device operates silently and uses no chemical insecticides, making it a low-disruption option for homes and apartments. Because it relies on adhesive pads and targeted UV light rather than fan suction or toxins, it’s a practical choice for shared living spaces when placed out of reach of children and curious pets.

• Silent operation suitable for bedrooms and living rooms
• No sprays or electric zapping—adhesive capture only
• Keep unit out of direct reach of children and pets
