Owala FreeSip 710 ml Stainless Steel Water Bottle — Putting Green, Dual-Action Lid & 24-Hour Cold

The Owala FreeSip 24 oz insulated stainless-steel bottle is a dual-action reusable water bottle with a locking push-button lid that lets you sip through a straw or swig from a wide-mouth spout while keeping drinks cold up to 24 hours.

Designed for everyday use, the FreeSip combines a clever two-way spout with dependable double-wall insulation and a carry loop that doubles as a safety lock. Its 24-ounce size fits most cup holders, is easy to clean thanks to a wide mouth and removable straw, and is built from BPA-free stainless steel. The bottle is intended for cold beverages only and includes a dishwasher-safe lid and a hand-wash cup for long-term performance.

How does the FreeSip lid let me drink two ways?

The patented FreeSip lid offers an integrated straw for upright sipping and a wide spout opening for tipping back and swigging. A push-button releases the lid to expose the spout, and the carry loop locks the lid closed to prevent accidental openings.

• Built-in, easy-clean straw for hands-free sipping
• Wide-mouth spout for fast pours and big gulps
• Push-to-open mechanism keeps the spout covered when not in use
• Carry loop converts into a lock to secure the lid during transit

Will this bottle keep drinks cold all day?

The FreeSip uses double-wall vacuum insulation to slow temperature transfer, keeping cold beverages chilly for up to 24 hours under normal conditions. While it’s not for hot liquids, the insulation also helps prevent outside condensation when carrying iced drinks.

• Double-wall stainless steel reduces heat exchange
• Effective for long commutes, gym sessions, and outdoor activities
• Exterior stays drier with less sweating and slipping
• Not recommended for hot beverages to protect lid components

How do I clean and maintain the Owala FreeSip bottle?

The lid is dishwasher-safe for convenient cleaning, while the stainless-steel cup is best washed by hand to preserve the finish and insulation. The wide opening and removable straw make it simple to access the interior for a thorough rinse or scrub.

• Dishwasher-safe lid—place on top rack
• Hand wash the bottle to protect seals and coating
• Wide mouth and detachable straw for easy scrubbing
• Dry components fully before reassembling to avoid odors

Does the 24-ounce size fit in cup holders and backpacks?

The 24 oz FreeSip is designed with a base that fits most vehicle and stroller cup holders and a slim profile suited for backpack side pockets. The integrated loop makes it easy to clip or carry without taking up extra bag space.

• Cup holder–friendly base for travel convenience
• Compact 24-ounce capacity balances hydration and portability
• Carry loop for hands-free attachments or locking the lid
• Lightweight stainless-steel construction suitable for daily carry
