Owala SmoothSip Slider 355 ml insulated stainless steel travel tumbler — Black Cherry, leakproof slider spout

The Owala SmoothSip Slider is a 12‑ounce stainless steel travel tumbler with a leakproof sliding spout that makes sipping smooth and carrying worry-free.

Compact and thoughtfully built, this Black Cherry Owala tumbler blends leak protection, comfortable sipping and thermal performance into a hand‑friendly cup that fits most car holders. Its double‑wall stainless steel keeps beverages near serving temperature while the slider spout prevents splashes and accidental spills when you're on the move. The lid components are dishwasher safe, and the body is made without BPA or phthalates for everyday use.

How does the slider spout stop spills during a commute?

The SmoothSip Slider uses a tight sliding mechanism that seals the drinking opening when closed and exposes a seamless spout when open, reducing the chance of drips or splashes. Because the spout is integrated with the lid, there are fewer gaps where liquid can escape compared with conventional flip lids.

• Leakproof sliding closure for secure transport
• Seamless spout profile to minimize splatter while drinking
• Simple one‑hand slide action for quick access

Will this tumbler actually keep my coffee hot or iced?

Yes — the double‑wall vacuum construction limits heat transfer so hot drinks stay warm and cold drinks stay chilled for extended periods. Manufacturer testing indicates hot retention up to about six hours and cold retention up to roughly 24 hours under normal conditions.

• 12‑ounce capacity for single servings or concentrated brews
• Double‑wall stainless steel for thermal insulation
• Temperature guidance: up to 6 hours hot, up to 24 hours cold

How easy is it to clean and maintain the tumbler?

The cup body should be hand washed to preserve the finish and insulation performance, while the lid is dishwasher safe for convenience. The smooth spout and removable lid parts make it straightforward to rinse and dry between uses.

• Hand wash recommended for the stainless steel cup
• Dishwasher‑safe lid and removable components for thorough cleaning
• BPA and phthalate‑free materials for safer everyday use

Does the tumbler fit in car cup holders and how comfortable is it to hold?

The 12‑ounce shape is intentionally slim to accommodate most vehicle cup holders and fits naturally in one hand. Its contoured profile and powder or painted finish (Black Cherry) provide a secure grip without being bulky.

• Slim 12 oz form factor designed for standard car holders
• Contoured body for comfortable single‑handed use
• Durable exterior finish resists slips and looks polished
