Patas Lague Orthopedic Dog Bed 36x24" Crate Mat - Black, Washable Egg-Crate Foam for Joint Support

Patas Lague Orthopedic Large Dog Bed is a supportive, washable 36" x 24" crate mat designed to cushion joints and create a cozy resting spot for medium-size dogs.

This plush crate mat pairs egg-crate contour foam with a warm checkered fleece surface and a waterproof TPU backing to deliver comfort, insulation, and easy cleanup. The removable cover zips off for machine washing while the compressed foam core expands to shape after unpacking. Built to fit crates, kennels, couches, and floor spots, this bed aims to add a calm, secure place for dogs that like to curl up or rest in one spot for long periods.

How does this bed help dogs who need extra joint cushioning?

The egg-crate foam core is cut to distribute weight and reduce concentrated pressure points while the thick padding provides a softer surface than typical crate mats. These features create a gentler lie-down surface that can feel more supportive for pets that prefer extra cushioning.

• Egg-crate foam promotes even weight distribution
• Generous padding increases surface softness
• Fleece top adds a warm, non-slip layer for settling
• Wide 36"x24" footprint suits many medium dog breeds

Will the cover survive regular washing and messy paws?

The outer cover is removable and safe for machine washing and tumble drying, making it practical for homes with active, sandy, or muddy dogs. The inner foam is not machine-washable; spot cleaning the foam and airing it after soiling helps preserve its structure.

• Zip-off cover is machine washable and dryer safe
• Waterproof TPU backing protects foam from spills
• Spot-clean instructions for the foam core included
• Cover fabric resists odors and dries quickly

How does this bed fit into a modern home or crate setup?

Designed with clean lines and a neutral black finish, the mat integrates easily with minimalist or family-style interiors while fitting most crates and kennel spaces. Its low-profile design makes it suitable for apartment living, pet crates, or placing beside a couch without dominating the room.

• Sleek black color complements modern decor
• Low-height mat fits inside most crates and carriers
• Waterproof backing prevents floor or crate saturation
• Available in multiple sizes to match different breeds

What should I know about sizing, unpacking, and care?

Choose the 36" x 24" size for medium breeds up to about 65 lbs; larger or smaller options are offered for other body types. The foam ships compressed and typically needs up to 72 hours to fully expand after opening. Follow washing instructions for the cover and avoid machine-washing the foam core.

• 36" x 24" recommended for medium dogs up to ~65 lbs
• Foam may take up to 72 hours to regain full shape
• Cover is machine washable; foam is not machine washable
• Keep away from direct heat; spot clean foam when necessary
