Pawstruck Air Dried Dog Food — Real Beef Grain-Free, 907 g Bag, High-Protein Limited-Ingredient

This 2 lb bag combines real beef as the lead ingredient with a targeted 5% blend of flaxseed, salmon oil, vitamins, and minerals to create a limited-ingredient, single-protein formula. The air-drying process gently reduces moisture at low temperatures to preserve nutrients lost in high-heat production while producing a texture dogs enjoy. Made in the USA in an SQF-certified facility, this recipe is AAFCO-compliant and recommended by veterinarians for balanced feeding across life stages.

How does air-dried food differ from kibble and raw diets?

Air-drying removes moisture slowly so proteins and fats keep more of their natural structure compared with conventional high-heat kibble. Unlike raw diets, air-dried products are shelf-stable and safer to handle while still offering higher ingredient integrity than many extruded foods. This makes it a middle ground for owners seeking nutrient density without raw feeding drawbacks.

• Gently roasted at low temperatures to retain more natural nutrients.
• Crunchy texture dogs find satisfying, aiding palatability and bite engagement.
• Shelf-stable, easier to store and serve than frozen raw meals.
• Lower heat processing reduces nutrient degradation vs. typical kibble.

What are the main ingredients and nutritional highlights?

The formula centers on real beef as the primary ingredient, composing roughly 95% of the recipe’s animal-based content, paired with a concise supportive mix of omega-rich oils and essential micronutrients. It’s free from grains, gluten, and unnecessary fillers to suit dogs with sensitivities and to support a meat-focused dietary profile. The limited-ingredient approach helps owners identify what’s in each serving.

• Single-protein beef formula to help with ingredient sensitivity tracking.
• Added flaxseed and salmon oil for omega fatty acids that support skin and coat.
• Fortified with vitamins and minerals to meet AAFCO complete nutrition standards.
• Grain-free and gluten-free for dogs with grain sensitivities or owners preferring grain-free diets.

How should I feed this to puppies, adults, or seniors?

Because the recipe is formulated to be AAFCO-compliant for all life stages, portioning is the main variable across ages and activity levels. Puppies need higher calorie intake per pound for growth, while less active or senior dogs require smaller portions to prevent weight gain. Start with the feeding guidelines on the package and adjust based on body condition and your veterinarian’s advice.

• Follow package portion recommendations as a starting point for each life stage.
• Increase servings for growing puppies or very active dogs; decrease for seniors or spayed/neutered pets with lower needs.
• Introduce gradually over 7–10 days to minimize digestive upset.
• Mix with water briefly if you prefer a softer texture for small mouths or older teeth.
