PETICON Dog Car Seat Cover Back Seat Hard-Bottom Extender — Waterproof Hammock & Mesh Window, Supports 181 kg

PETICON's Dog Car Seat Cover for Back Seat is a waterproof, hard-bottom extender that expands rear seating space, supports up to 400 lbs, and keeps pets secure and your vehicle clean.

Taking pets on the road can mean scratches, spills, hair, and nervous dogs slipping around the back seat. The PETICON back seat extender mixes a rigid, removable hard-bottom support with thick cushioning, a zipped hammock design, and a mesh view window so your dog rides comfortably while your upholstery stays protected. Made to fit most cars, SUVs, and small-to-medium trucks, it converts your back seat into a safer, larger resting area for pets and helps reduce anxiety by keeping them visually connected to you.

How does the hard-bottom extender improve comfort and safety?

The extender uses eight interlocking hard plates combined with thick sponge padding to create a stable, flat surface across the back seat. This reduces the chance of a pet falling between seats and distributes weight evenly for larger dogs.

• 8 sturdy hard splice plates for strong support and no odor
• 8 thick sponges for cushioning on long trips
• Supports up to 400 pounds to accommodate larger pets
• Removable plates and sponges for targeted cleaning

Will it keep my car clean during messy trips?

Yes — PETICON uses a six-layer, hot-pressed top that is waterproof without pinholes, plus a non-slip bottom to block liquids and hold the cover in place. The fully enclosed hammock and upright side flaps trap mud, fur, and spills inside the cover rather than on your upholstery.

• Water-resistant upper layer prevents penetration from urine, food, and juice
• Non-slip bottom keeps cover steady over speed bumps and turns
• Zippered sides and upright flaps contain mess and protect door panels
• Measures 50.5" W × 60.5" L to fit most vehicles

How does the mesh window and design help anxious dogs?

The integrated mesh window improves airflow and lets your dog see you, which reduces anxiety and helps pets stay calm while traveling. Increased ventilation also makes the space more comfortable in both summer and winter.

• See-through mesh provides visual contact with the driver or front seat
• Improves air circulation for a cooler or warmer cabin experience
• Helps pets feel less isolated and lowers travel stress

Is it simple to set up, remove, and maintain?

Installation is fast with upgraded metal buckles, adjustable door-slide straps, and seat anchors; the cover folds and secures with snap buttons for neat storage. For routine cleaning, wipe with a damp cloth, vacuum, or rinse—internal plates and sponges remove easily to deep-clean or dry separately.

• 4 durable metal buckles and 2 seat anchors for quick, secure fit
• 2 adjustable door straps prevent slipping off the door frame
• Folds and stores in the car using built-in buttons when not in use
• Removable hard plates and sponges make deep cleaning straightforward
