PetLab Co. Dental Formula Water Additive for Dogs & Cats, 237 ml — Daily Breath Freshening & Tartar Support

PetLab Co. Dental Formula is a daily water additive that helps reduce odor-causing compounds and supports cleaner teeth and healthier gums for dogs and cats when used once a day.

Keeping your pet’s mouth healthy shouldn’t require a toothbrush battle or complicated routines. This 8 fl oz bottle of PetLab Co. Dental Formula mixes directly into drinking water and is formulated for dogs and cats 12 weeks and older. It uses stabilized chlorine dioxide to address the compounds that contribute to bad breath and to aid in reducing tartar accumulation in areas brushing can miss. The product is designed to be flavorless and odorless after dilution, so most pets accept their water without hesitation.

How do I use this water additive in my pet’s routine?

Using the Dental Formula is designed to be simple: shake the bottle, add one teaspoon (5 ml) to 8 oz of fresh water once a day, and offer it to your pet. Replace the treated water daily to maintain effectiveness and hygiene. This approach is intended to fit into busy schedules while providing continuous oral care support.

• Add 1 tsp (5 ml) to each 8 oz bowl once every 24 hours
• Shake bottle thoroughly before measuring
• Discard unused treated water after 24 hours and refresh

Will my dog or cat notice a taste or smell?

Once diluted in water at the recommended ratio, the formula is designed to be odorless and flavorless, so most pets do not detect any change. That reduces the chance of them avoiding their water bowl. If a pet shows hesitation, try mixing into a larger water source briefly or offer in a separate bowl to let them acclimate.

• Neutral flavor and scent after dilution
• Suitable for sensitive eaters and drinkers
• Easy swap into regular water bowl without disruption

What oral benefits can I expect with continued use?

Daily use supports fresher breath by targeting odor-producing compounds and helps address tartar build-up in hard-to-reach areas. While results vary by pet and starting condition, many pet parents see improvements in breath and cleaner-looking teeth over time. This product is intended to complement — not replace — veterinary dental care when needed.

• Targets odor-causing compounds to improve breath
• Helps reduce tartar accumulation over time
• Supports cleaner teeth and healthier-looking gums with consistent use

Is this safe for all dogs and cats and how old must they be?

PetLab Co. Dental Formula is formulated for dogs and cats aged 12 weeks and older. It’s intended as a daily oral hygiene aid and should be used as directed. As with any supplement or new product, consult your veterinarian if your pet has specific health issues, is pregnant, or is on medication.
