PETMAKER Puppy Playpen Foldable Metal 8×24-inch Panels — Indoor/Outdoor with Step-Through Gate

This sturdy playpen gives you a contained space for puppies, small dogs, cats, rabbits, and other appropriately sized animals both inside the home and outdoors. Built from heavy-gauge wire with a black satin electro-coat finish, it resists the elements while offering a step-through access door with double latches for secure, convenient entry. The panels fold flat for compact storage and offer multiple configuration options to fit patios, living rooms, or lawn spaces.

How large is the enclosed area and can I change its shape?

The kit includes eight 24" panels that connect to form a perimeter 192" long when laid flat; assembled as a rectangle the standard footprint is 192" x 24" with a height of 24". You can reconfigure the panels into squares, rectangles, hexagons, or other shapes to match your space and the number of pets.

• Each panel measures 24" (L) x 3" (W) x 24" (H).
• Assembled dimensions: up to 192" length; typical rectangle 192" x 24" x 24" height.
• Panels connect with thumb-snaps for quick changes in layout.
• Fold-flat design for transport and storage.

Is the playpen durable enough for outdoor use and how is it secured?

The fence is constructed from heavy-gauge metal wire and finished with a black satin electro-coat that helps protect against rust and wear from outdoor exposure. For outdoor setups, the kit includes eight ground stakes to anchor the pen to soil or grass, improving stability on lawns and garden surfaces.

• Heavy-gauge wire frame resists bending under normal use by small pets.
• Black satin electro-coat finish provides long-lasting corrosion resistance.
• Eight ground stakes included for anchoring on soft ground.
• Secure step-through door with dual latches prevents curious pets from escaping.

How easy is it to set up, fold, and transport the pen?

Setup requires no tools: panels attach with thumb-snaps and ground stakes press into soft ground. The hinged panel design lets the whole unit fold flat for compact storage and makes transporting the pen straightforward for car trips or visits to friends and family.

• Tool-free assembly using included thumb-snaps and stakes.
• Fold-flat panels reduce storage volume and simplify packing.
• Lightweight metal panels are easy for one person to handle.
• Step-through gate swings open for smooth pet handling during entry/exit.

What pets is this playpen suitable for and are there weight limits?

The PETMAKER Puppy Playpen is designed for small animals up to 25 lbs, including puppies, small-breed dogs, cats, rabbits, and similarly sized pets. It provides a supervised area for play and rest rather than a substitute for full-time confinement or unsupervised outdoor exposure.

• Recommended for pets under 25 lbs.
• Appropriate for puppies and small breeds that do not climb or jump over a 24" barrier.
• Not intended for large, boisterous dogs or animals that chew through wire.
• Best used under supervision; adapt layout to suit your pet’s activity level.

The PETMAKER Puppy Playpen is ideal for owners who need a flexible containment solution for training, supervised play, or temporary confinement during travel or around the house. It suits renters and homeowners who want a no-tools setup that tucks away neatly when not in use. If your pet is under 25 lbs, does not regularly clear 24" barriers, and you want an easily reconfigurable indoor/outdoor pen with a secure access door, this model delivers practical durability and portability without permanent installation.
