PREPWORKS Canning Funnel for Wide & Regular-Mouth Jars — Heat-Resistant Polypropylene with Headspace Markings

Whether you're preserving seasonal fruits, preparing homemade sauces, or simply transferring liquids and dry goods into jars, a canning funnel helps you fill containers neatly and consistently. The PrepWorks Canning Funnel is molded from heat-resistant polypropylene, sized to work with both wide- and regular-mouth jars, and includes clear headspace measurements on the base so you can stop guessing and start sealing confidently.

How does this funnel keep my counter and jars cleaner?

The funnel's outer edge and elevated collar create a barrier between the jar rim and the countertop, directing spills into the funnel instead of onto surfaces. That raised collar also allows the funnel to rest off the counter when set down, reducing contact with messy worktops.

• Raised collar lifts funnel from countertop to minimize contamination.
• Outer rim collects drips to prevent splashes onto jar rims.
• Smooth, easy-to-wipe polypropylene surface cleans quickly after use.

Will this fit the jars I already own?

Yes — the PrepWorks Canning Funnel is designed to accommodate both regular- and wide-mouth jars, so you can use one tool across your pantry or canning projects. The tapered neck and generous opening center over the jar mouth for a secure fit during pouring.

• Compatible with wide- and regular-mouth mason jars.
• Tapered shape centers funnel over different jar sizes without wobbling.
• Lightweight design makes it easy to handle while filling heavy or hot contents.

How do the headspace measurements help with canning?

Printed measurements on the funnel base give you an immediate reference for headspace while filling, so you can achieve consistent jar volume without extra tools. That built-in guide simplifies the process of leaving the right gap for seals and lids.

• Clear, printed headspace marks eliminate guesswork when filling jars.
• Helps ensure consistent fill levels for safer, more reliable sealing.
• Removes the need to switch to a separate measuring tool mid-process.

Is this funnel durable and safe for warm foods?

The funnel is made from polypropylene (PP) and heat-resistant high-heat PP, materials chosen for sturdiness and ease of cleaning. They tolerate the warm temperatures commonly encountered when ladling cooked preserves and sauces into jars without warping.

• Constructed from PP and high-heat PP for heat tolerance and longevity.
• Non-porous material resists staining and absorbs minimal odors.
• Lightweight 0.29 lb profile reduces hand fatigue during repetitive filling.

Who is this for: The PrepWorks Canning Funnel is ideal for home canners, meal-prep enthusiasts, small-batch food producers, and anyone who transfers liquids or dry ingredients into jars. If you value tidy workspaces, consistent fills, and a single tool that fits multiple jar sizes, this funnel simplifies the process and saves cleanup time.
