Presto 16.1 L Digital Pressure Canner — Extra-Tall Electric Canner with Sensor Control and LED Timer

The Presto 02152 17-Quart Digital Pressure Canner is an automated electric canner that maintains exact processing temperature for safe pressure and boiling-water canning without manual adjustments.

If you preserve garden produce, make large-batch sauces, or value a hands-off canning workflow, this extra-tall digital canner is built to simplify the process. It combines a precise temperature sensor, an LED interface, and an included stainless-steel rack to handle both pressure and boiling-water methods. The removable PFAS-free ceramic-coated pot keeps cleanup straightforward and reduces kitchen heat during long processing cycles.

How does the Presto digital sensor keep processing safe and consistent?

The canner uses an internal temperature sensor that automatically holds the required processing temperature throughout the cycle, so you don’t need to constantly monitor or adjust heat—this includes pressure canning at high altitudes. The result is a stable environment that follows standard processing times selected on the digital dial.

• Sensor-controlled temperature regulation for consistent results
• Digital interface to choose method and processing time
• Built-in timer and LED guidance for accurate cycles
• No manual pressure or temperature adjustments required

What jar sizes and batch volumes can this 17-quart canner handle?

The canner’s extra-tall interior accommodates quart jars upright, letting you process larger volumes in fewer batches. Capacity varies by method, with the unit supporting both pressure and boiling-water canning configurations.

• Pressure canning: up to 19 half-pints, 8 pints, or 5 quarts
• Boiling-water canning: up to 10 half-pints, 8 pints, or 5 quarts
• Stainless-steel rack included for stable jar placement
• Ideal for batch cooking and seasonal preserving

Which user controls and safety features help beginners can confidently?

The Presto digital canner guides you through each step with illuminated LED icons and a simple control knob. Ten built-in safety features—such as a cover locking system and an alert for incomplete processes—reduce user error and provide peace of mind during long or unattended cycles.

• LED display icons guide method selection and timing
• Cover-locking mechanism prevents accidental opening during processing
• Alert symbol notifies when the canning cycle is incomplete
• Included quickstart guide and USDA-aligned recipe booklet

How does cleanup and maintenance work with the Presto canner?

The inner cooking pot has a PFAS-free ceramic coating and is removable, simplifying washing and reducing lingering odors. The stainless-steel rack and accessories are easy to rinse and dry, and the digital components are accessible without submerging the whole unit.

• Removable ceramic-coated pot for easy cleaning
• PFAS-free interior surface for safer food contact
• Stainless-steel rack cleans quickly by hand or with a dishwasher-safe recommendation check
• Digital controls remain protected from direct water exposure
