PrettyHome Curved Shower Curtain Rod, Adjustable 38–72 in Matte Black — Wall-Mount, Rust-Resistant 0.9mm Aluminium

This PrettyHome curved shower curtain rod combines a reinforced 0.9 mm aluminum tube with waterproof ABS brackets so you get a rust-resistant, long-lasting fixture for bathrooms and more. The bowed profile pushes the curtain away from the body, increasing usable shower space and reducing contact with wet fabric. It’s a wall-mounted solution designed for stability and heavier curtains, not a tension pole.

How much extra shower space will this rod provide?

The arc increases the usable area inside a tub or shower by roughly 12 inches compared with a straight rod, giving you more elbow room and keeping the curtain from brushing your body. That extra distance helps the curtain hang straighter and improves ventilation.

• Approx. 12 inches additional inward curve versus straight rods
• Curved profile prevents curtain contact with the user
• Better curtain drape and reduced cling during showers

Is it easy to fit this rod to different bathroom layouts?

The rod is telescoping and adjusts between 38 and 72 inches to suit a wide range of tub and shower widths. Each bracket base can rotate to accommodate different wall angles and tile layouts, so you can align the curve precisely where needed.

• Adjustable length: 38"–72" to match most shower openings
• Rotating wall brackets for flexible angle installation
• Includes screws and anchors for secure wall mounting

How strong and rust-resistant is this shower rod?

Constructed from a 0.9 mm thickened aluminum tube and waterproof ABS bracket housings, the rod is built to withstand heavier curtains and long-term bathroom humidity. Unlike studio tension poles, the wall-mounted design provides superior load-bearing capacity and stability.

• Thickened 0.9 mm aluminum for improved strength
• Matte black finish resists corrosion and hides water spots
• Wall-mount anchors increase durability versus tension rods

What tools and steps are needed for installation?

Installation requires drilling two bracket holes into the wall using a 5/16-inch drill bit — the package contains all screws, anchors, and a user manual to guide you. Because this is a permanent, wall-mounted product, drilling ensures a secure fit and better long-term performance than pressure-mounted alternatives.

• Use a 5/16" drill bit as recommended for anchor holes
• Mark bracket locations, drill, insert anchors, then secure brackets
• Telescoping tube adjusts to final length before tightening
