PRIMALS Bamboo Toothbrush 4-Pack — Horse Bristle, Fully Biodegradable, Quick-Dry Stand-Up

PRIMALS Horse Bristle & Bamboo Toothbrush (4-Pack) is a fully biodegradable toothbrush set with soft, ethically sourced horse-hair bristles and a single-piece bamboo handle designed to dry quickly and avoid plastics.

Switching to a plastic-free toothbrush can be simple and practical: this four-pack from PRIMALS pairs naturally soft horse hair with a solid bamboo handle crafted without glue, packaged in recycled cardboard. Each brush is made to biodegrade at end of life while offering a gentler brushing surface than standard nylon. The quick-dry, freestanding design reduces moisture retention, and the whole product is free from BPA, phthalates and PFAS.

How gentle are the horse-hair bristles on teeth and gums?

The horse bristles used in these brushes are boiled and processed to achieve consistent firmness and hygienic quality. They are naturally softer and smoother than nylon, offering a less abrasive clean for people who experience gum sensitivity or prefer a softer brush head. While gentle, they still remove surface debris when used with proper technique.

• Ethically sourced, heat-processed horse hair for uniform texture
• Naturally finer tips reduce abrasion on enamel and gums
• Well-suited for sensitive gums or cautious brushing routines

What makes the bamboo handle different from typical toothbrushes?

The handle is carved from a single piece of sustainable bamboo so no adhesives are required to hold bristles or parts together. That one-piece construction improves durability and eliminates hidden plastics or glues that complicate composting. The shape is balanced for everyday use and engineered to stand upright so air circulates around the head.

• Single-piece bamboo handle — no glue or mixed materials
• Sturdy ergonomic shape for a reliable grip while brushing
• Stand-up design accelerates drying and reduces mildew risk

How eco-friendly and safe is this toothbrush set?

PRIMALS emphasizes low-impact materials and chemical transparency: the brushes are free from BPA, phthalates and PFAS and are packaged in recycled cardboard. Because every main component is biodegradable, the brushes can be composted or returned to soil systems when responsibly disposed of. Choosing this set reduces reliance on petroleum-based plastics and typical nylon bristles.

• 100% biodegradable materials including handle and bristles
• No BPA, phthalates, PFAS, or petroleum-based plastics
• Recycled cardboard packaging for reduced waste footprint

How should I care for and store these brushes to extend lifespan?

Keep brushes upright between uses so air can circulate and moisture can escape; the freestanding design supports this habit. Rinse thoroughly after brushing and let them dry in a ventilated area rather than enclosed containers. Replace each brush according to your dentist’s guidance or when bristles visibly wear.

• Rinse and shake off excess water after each use
• Store upright in a ventilated holder to speed drying
• Replace when bristles lose shape or every few months as needed

Who is this for? These toothbrushes are aimed at people seeking a plastic-free oral care routine, those with sensitive gums who prefer softer bristles, and eco-conscious shoppers who want a biodegradable alternative to nylon/plastic brushes. The four-pack covers households or provides spares for travel, and the quick-dry, single-piece bamboo design appeals to anyone prioritizing simple, low-waste grooming essentials.
