Primy Drafting Chair — Tall Ergonomic Office/Standing Desk Chair, Black with Flip-Up Armrests & Adjustable Footrest Ring

The Primy Drafting Chair is a height-adjustable, ergonomic tall office chair built for standing desks and bar-height workstations, featuring flip-up armrests, lumbar support, and an adjustable footrest ring for prolonged comfort.

Designed for designers, lab technicians, makers, and anyone using a raised surface, this Primy drafting chair combines breathable mesh, a thick cushioned seat, and a stable five-star base to support longer shifts without sacrificing mobility. It balances compact footprint and ergonomic features so you can alternate between sitting and perching while maintaining proper posture and circulation.

How does the height adjustment and footrest ring improve posture at taller desks?

The chair’s pneumatic lift and rotatable foot ring allow you to set a comfortable working height for counters, standing desks, or bar tables while keeping feet supported. Supporting your feet reduces pressure under the thighs and prevents slumping, which helps maintain a neutral spine when working at elevated surfaces.

• Pneumatic height control for precise desk-level matching
• Round foot ring adjustable to user height and leg length
• Foot support encourages even weight distribution and reduces thigh pressure

What ergonomic features help reduce discomfort during long shifts?

This Primy chair includes a contoured mesh back and an adjustable lumbar support that follow the natural curve of the lower spine to ease back strain. The seat cushion is a thick, high-density foam with a beveled edge to reduce pressure behind the knees and promote better leg circulation when seated for extended periods.

• Curved breathable mesh back improves airflow and support
• Removable/adjustable lumbar pad to tailor lower-back support
• 3-inch dense foam cushion with waterfall edge for reduced leg numbness

Are the armrests and mobility features practical for mixed-use workspaces?

Flip-up armrests provide flexibility in tight work zones or when you need to move closer to a desk, while 360° swivel and smooth casters enable easy repositioning without standing up. The five-spoke base spreads weight evenly for stable movement and quieter rolling across office floors.

• 90° flip-up armrests free up lateral space when needed
• Full 360° rotation aids multitasking and collaboration
• Durable casters and five-claw base ensure stable, low-noise mobility

How durable and serviceable is the Primy drafting chair?

Built with a reinforced base and quality materials, the chair is meant to withstand daily use in busy environments like studios and labs. Primy backs the product with a one-year warranty and responsive customer support to address assembly questions or issues.

• Sturdy five-star base for even load distribution
• Breathable materials designed to resist wear from long-term use
• One-year warranty and dedicated customer service for peace of mind

Who is this for? The Primy Drafting Chair is well suited for professionals and hobbyists who work at nonstandard desk heights—architects, illustrators, lab personnel, and anyone using a standing or bar-height surface. It’s also a good option for compact workspaces where flip-up arms and adjustable foot support make prolonged sitting or perching more comfortable without a large footprint.
