RAINPOINT Sprinkler Timer with Brass Swivel — Programmable Hose Tap Controller, Large LCD & Metal Inlet

RAINPOINT Sprinkler Timer with Brass Swivel is a programmable hose faucet controller built with a pure brass inlet and easy-to-use scheduling to automate watering for gardens, lawns, and outdoor plants.

Designed to replace a manual hose faucet, this timer combines a robust all-brass water inlet and metal threading with a large, easy-to-read LCD and flexible programming options. It prevents sediment from entering irrigation lines, handles up to 116 psi, and offers features like rain delay and a manual override so you can protect plants and conserve water without daily fuss.

How does the brass swivel inlet improve durability?

The upgraded 100% brass inlet and metal thread dramatically increase the unit's resistance to wear, cross-threading, and pressure compared with plastic fittings. A built-in metal filter gasket also reduces the risk of debris entering your irrigation lines, extending the life of drip emitters, sprinklers, and valves.

• Pure brass inlet and metal thread for corrosion resistance and strength
• Rated to withstand up to 116 psi water pressure
• Integrated metal filter gasket to catch sediment and protect downstream components

What programming options help conserve water and fit my schedule?

The RAINPOINT timer offers precise scheduling so you can set starts, durations, and repeat intervals that match plant needs and local watering rules. Duration ranges from short 1-minute pulses up to 3 hours 59 minutes for deep watering, and frequency options accommodate hourly or multi-day schedules.

• Start time setup for daily or staggered watering
• Watering duration: 1 minute to 3 hours 59 minutes
• Frequency: every 1–12 hours or every 1–7 days for flexible cycles

How do rain delay and manual modes make watering simpler?

Rain delay pauses your programmed schedule for 24, 48, or 72 hours after wet weather without deleting your setup, preventing unnecessary irrigation. Manual mode lets you run a single watering session from 1 minute up to 8 hours immediately—handy for spot watering or after planting—while leaving scheduled cycles intact.

• Rain delay options: 24, 48, or 72 hours to avoid overwatering
• Manual watering from 1 minute to 8 hours without altering schedules
• Quick resume of automatic schedule after manual or rain delay use

Is the timer easy to read and install outdoors?

The large LCD display shows start times, run durations, frequency and battery status for straightforward setup and monitoring. Installation is tool-free and designed to attach to a standard outdoor faucet, with the brass swivel providing a secure, leak-resistant connection.

• Big LCD screen for clear visibility of settings and status
• Simple attachment to standard hose faucets with metal thread
• Weather-tolerant housing for outdoor use (follow battery and winterization guidance)

Who this is for: gardeners, homeowners, and property managers who want a reliable, heavy-duty hose timer that reduces manual watering, protects irrigation components from sediment, and adapts to changing weather and planting needs. It’s especially useful for those who need flexible run-times—from short pulses to long soakings—and value a metal inlet for long-term durability.
