Razer Laptop Cooling Pad Adaptive Smart — 140mm Fan, Airtight Pressure Chamber & 3-Port USB Hub

The Razer Laptop Cooling Pad Adaptive Smart is a temperature-aware cooling stand that automatically adjusts fan speeds, seals airflow for higher pressure, and adds a 3-port USB-A hub for expanded connectivity.

Designed for gamers, creators, and power users who push laptops hard, this intelligent cooling pad combines an airtight pressure chamber, a high-output 140 mm brushless fan, magnetic frames for multiple laptop sizes, and software-controlled fan curves. It integrates with Razer Synapse to let you choose presets or craft custom profiles, while remappable buttons and Razer Chroma RGB add convenient control and personalization. The unit also includes a two-year manufacturer warranty for added peace of mind.

How does the fan automatically adapt to my laptop’s temperatures?

The cooling pad monitors operating conditions and changes fan speed based on temperature thresholds you set or the recommended presets in Razer Synapse. Automatic scaling reduces unnecessary noise at idle and ramps up cooling under load to help manage internal component temperatures.

• Smart fan control with preset and custom curves
• Automatic scaling from idle to full load
• Software calibration through Razer Synapse

What makes the airtight pressure chamber helpful for cooling?

An included foam seal forms an airtight chamber that stops cool air from escaping under the laptop, focusing airflow where it matters most. Combined with the 140 mm fan that reaches up to 3000 RPM, the design increases pressure and airflow to improve heat dissipation from CPU, GPU, and external surfaces.

• Foam seals reduce air leakage for concentrated airflow
• Large 140 mm brushless fan for sustained high RPM
• Improved surface and component cooling through pressure concentration

Will this fit my laptop and how do the magnetic frames work?

The pad supports a wide range of laptop sizes, from compact 14" models to larger 18" systems, by using three interchangeable magnetic frames. Each frame repositions the airflow opening and seal to align with your laptop’s intake vents and maximize cooling efficiency.

• Three magnetic frames for varied laptop widths
• Adjustable alignment for vent placement and airflow concentration
• Simple frame swaps for quick size changes

What connectivity and control features does it add?

Beyond active cooling, the pad adds a 3-port USB-A hub so you can connect peripherals without using your laptop’s limited ports. On-device multifunction buttons let you change fan speeds, adjust Razer Chroma lighting, and remap actions through Synapse for one-touch control.

• Built-in 3-port USB Type-A hub for peripherals
• Remappable buttons for fan speed, lighting, and shortcuts
• Razer Chroma RGB integration and Synapse customization

Who is this for: The Razer Laptop Cooling Pad Adaptive Smart is best for laptop owners who run high-performance workloads—such as gaming, video editing, or prolonged multitasking—and want automated temperature management, increased airflow pressure, and extra USB connectivity. It’s also suitable for users who value software customization and on-device controls, and for owners of compatible Razer laptops who want to take advantage of Razer HyperBoost features.
