Retrospec Solana 1/2" Thick TPE Yoga & Exercise Mat — 72" x 24", Non-Slip Cushioned Support with Carry Strap

The Retrospec Solana is an extra-thick 1/2" TPE yoga and exercise mat that delivers cushioned joint support, a non-slip surface, and a nylon carrying strap for easy transport.

The Solana mat pairs dense 1/2-inch padding with a high-density TPE surface to create a stable, comfortable base for yoga, pilates, stretching, and floor workouts. Measuring 72" x 24", it gives ample length and width for most users and routines, while its durable construction stands up to daily use. Lightweight and portable, the included strap makes it simple to carry and store, and its BPA-free composition avoids phthalates, heavy metals, and latex.

How does the Solana mat protect my joints and improve balance?

The half-inch thickness cushions pressure points—knees, wrists, hips—reducing discomfort during poses and ground-based exercises. The dense foam still provides enough firmness to keep you balanced so poses remain stable rather than sinking unevenly.

• 1/2" extra-thick TPE foam for pressure relief.
• 72" x 24" footprint for extended support and alignment.
• Firm, high-density core maintains balance and posture.

Is the Solana mat slip-resistant enough for sweaty or vigorous classes?

Yes—the textured TPE surface is designed to deliver reliable grip even during higher-intensity or sweat-prone sessions. The material’s traction helps prevent hands and feet from sliding, so you can hold poses longer and move with more confidence.

• Non-slip TPE surface increases traction during practice.
• Textured finish reduces slippage for hands and feet.
• Suitable for yoga, pilates, HIIT, and core work where grip matters.

How do I care for and transport the Solana mat?

Cleaning is straightforward: wipe with mild soap and water, then hang to dry—do not submerge. For transport, the mat rolls up compactly and the included durable nylon strap secures it for carrying to the studio or storing at home.

• Wipe-clean: gentle soap and water; air-dry only.
• Included nylon carrying strap for easy transport and storage.
• Avoid full submersion; air out if a light manufacturing scent is present.

Will this mat last for everyday use and is it safe?

The Solana is built from durable TPE that withstands frequent workouts while maintaining its shape and grip. It’s formulated without phthalates, heavy metals, and latex, offering a cleaner option for regular practice. Expect long-term performance when cared for according to the cleaning instructions.

• Durable high-density TPE resists compression over time.
• BPA-free, phthalate-free, heavy-metal-free, and latex-free construction.
• Designed for daily home or studio use with proper maintenance.
