Rhino USA 2in Locking Trailer Hitch Pin — 2x2 Receiver, Patented Solid-Steel with Weatherproof Slide Cap

The Rhino USA 2in Trailer Hitch Pin is a patented, solid-steel locking receiver pin that secures 2" x 2" Class III and IV hitches with a weatherproof slide cap and lifetime replacement.

When you tow, the connection between vehicle and trailer is the most vulnerable point for theft and accidental disengagement. Rhino USA designed this locking hitch pin to replace a standard clip with a tamper-resistant, American-made solution that fits common 2" receivers. It pairs heavy-duty materials with a sealed cap and a keyed lock system so your trailer stays attached only when you want it to.

How does this hitch pin keep my trailer secure?

The pin uses a solid-steel body and an internal locking mechanism that resists pry and pull attempts. Its patented design removes the need for the usual R-clip, replacing it with a keyed lock that only opens with the matching key. That physical barrier makes casual theft much more difficult and reduces the risk of accidental separation while towing.

• Solid steel construction for high shear strength
• Keyed lock cylinder to prevent unauthorized removal
• Replaces standard hitch clips for a firmer connection

Will this fit my trailer and receiver?

This lock is engineered specifically for standard 2" x 2" (Class III and IV) receiver tubes and their corresponding hitch mounts. If your receiver is the common 2-inch square size, the pin will slide through and lock in place like a conventional pin. Always check your receiver size before purchase to ensure compatibility.

• Designed for 2" x 2" receiver systems (Class III & IV)
• Works with most trailers, bike racks, and towing accessories sized for 2" receivers
• Easy replacement for existing hitch pin and clip

How does the patented slide cap help in rough weather?

The patented slide cap covers the lock cylinder and pin ends, keeping out dirt, mud, and moisture that can impair operation. That weatherproofing helps the locking mechanism remain functional and reduces maintenance needs, especially for users who tow in off-road, rainy, or salty environments. The cap slides open when you insert the key and seals closed when locked.

• Weatherproof slide cap blocks debris and moisture
• Reduces corrosion and keeps the lock cylinder cleaner
• Simple slide action for quick access when needed
