Ring Small Solar Panel 1.9W for Outdoor Cam & Spotlight Cam – White, USB-C with 2 m cable

Ring Small Solar Panel (1.9W) is a compact solar charger designed to keep compatible Ring battery cameras charged using direct sunlight, with an adjustable mount and USB-C connection for easy installation.

This small, weather-ready panel brings the same upgraded solar technology found in Ring's larger panels into a compact form factor ideal for balconies, porches, and tight mounting spots. It pairs directly with several Ring battery-powered cameras via a built-in USB-C cable, and includes an adapter for older Ring barrel-plug models, letting you extend run time and reduce manual recharging.

How will this solar panel extend my Ring camera's battery life?

The 1.9W panel trickle-charges compatible Ring cameras whenever it receives sufficient sunlight, reducing the frequency you need to remove the battery for charging. While it doesn’t make a camera fully maintenance-free, it significantly supplements daily power in sunny conditions.

• 1.9 watts of solar output for continuous trickle charging.
• Ring suggests 3–4 hours of direct sun daily for best effect.
• Built-in 6.5 ft (2 m) cable to place panel where sunlight is best.
• Includes USB-C-to-barrel adapter to work with some older Ring cameras.

Which Ring cameras are compatible with this solar panel?

The panel is compatible out of the box with Ring Outdoor Cam Plus, Outdoor Cam (Stick Up Cam), Stick Up Cam Pro, Spotlight Cam Plus, and Spotlight Cam Pro via the USB-C connector. If you own an earlier Stick Up Cam or Spotlight Cam Battery that uses a barrel plug, the included USB-C to barrel adapter maintains compatibility.

• Native USB-C support for newer Ring battery cameras.
• Adapter included for Stick Up Cam (2nd/3rd gen) and Spotlight Cam Battery.
• Simple plug-and-play connection—no additional wiring needed.

How easy is installation and placement?

Installation is straightforward: the panel has an adjustable arm that rotates 360° and tilts 180°, so you can fine-tune orientation toward optimal sunlight without complex mounting. The kit includes screws, anchors, cable clips, and a base with integrated cable management to keep the run tidy and protected from the elements.

• Adjustable arm for precise sun-facing adjustment.
• Mounting screws, anchors, and cable clips included for quick setup.
• 6.5 ft cable with built-in cable management for flexible placement.

What should I consider about performance and weather?

Performance depends on available sunlight: shaded locations or short winter days will reduce charging effectiveness. The panel is intended for outdoor use and built to withstand normal weather, but placing it where it gets direct sun for several hours daily yields the best results.

• Best results with at least 3–4 hours of direct sunlight per day.
• Compact dimensions (6.9" x 4.4" x 0.5") fit small mounting spaces.
• Designed for outdoor exposure but avoid permanently shaded spots.

Who this product is for: The Ring Small Solar Panel is ideal for homeowners or renters who use Ring battery cameras and want to reduce the need for manual recharging, especially in locations where a small, unobtrusive panel is preferable. Choose this if you have a compatible Ring camera and a sunny or partially sunny mounting location where a compact panel can be positioned to collect several hours of direct sunlight daily.
