Ring Spotlight Cam Plus Plug-In Security Camera — 1080p HD & Colour Night Vision (Black)

The Ring Spotlight Cam Plus (plug‑in) is a hardwired outdoor security camera with 1080p HD video, color night vision, motion‑activated LED spotlights, two‑way talk, and a built‑in siren for continuous home or business monitoring.

Designed for continuous power from a standard outlet, this newest plug‑in model combines wide‑angle 1080p video and color night vision so you can check activity any time, day or night. Motion sensors trigger two bright LED spotlights and optional recordings; you can speak to visitors with two‑way talk, and use the built‑in siren to deter intruders. Integrations with Ring Protect subscriptions and Alexa give you cloud storage, smart alerts, and voice or display control.

How clear is the video and what does color night vision look like?

The Spotlight Cam Plus records in 1080p HD with a wide viewing angle to capture faces and details. In low light, color night vision uses the built‑in spotlights to illuminate the scene so footage retains natural colors instead of monochrome grainy images.

• 1080p HD resolution for sharper detail and readable license plates at close range.
• Wide field of view to cover driveways, entryways, or small yards.
• Color night vision enabled by motion‑activated LED spotlights for clearer nighttime footage.

How does motion detection and the siren help protect my property?

Customizable motion zones let you limit alerts to critical areas, cutting down on noise from streets or sidewalks. When motion is detected, the camera can trigger the two LED spotlights and you can manually sound the integrated siren from the app to help scare off unwanted activity.

• Custom motion zones focus detection on the areas you choose to reduce false alerts.
• Two motion‑activated LED spotlights automatically illuminate detected activity.
• Remote‑activated security siren can be sounded from the Ring app for immediate deterrence.

What communication and smart home features are included?

Two‑way talk allows live audio between the camera and your phone or compatible Echo device, so you can greet visitors or warn trespassers. Ring devices work with Alexa to view live feeds on Echo Show, receive instant announcements, or control camera features hands‑free.

• Two‑way talk with noise cancellation for real‑time conversations.
• Works with Alexa for voice control and streaming to Echo Show displays.
• Push notifications and Live View let you check activity instantly from the Ring app.

What do I get with Ring Protect and how is the camera powered?

The plug‑in Spotlight Cam Plus runs continuously from standard outlet power, eliminating battery swaps and ensuring uninterrupted operation. Ring Protect (subscription sold separately) adds cloud video storage, event review, and richer alerts such as person and package detection so you can save and share recordings up to your plan’s retention limit.

• Continuous plug‑in power for 24/7 monitoring—no batteries to recharge or replace.
• Optional Ring Protect plans provide video saving, sharing, and more intelligent alerts.
• Local alerts and Live View remain available even without a subscription for immediate monitoring.

Who this is for: The Ring Spotlight Cam Plus (plug‑in) is a practical choice for homeowners and small business owners who want reliable, always‑on exterior surveillance with visible deterrents. It suits locations with easy outlet access—porches, garages, storefronts, and other entry points—where clear daytime footage and enhanced color night vision are priorities. Choose this model if you value continuous power, motion‑activated lighting and siren options, and seamless integration with Ring Protect and Alexa for smarter monitoring and cloud backup.
