Roku Voice Remote Pro 2nd Edition — Rechargeable Voice TV Remote with Backlit Buttons

The Roku Voice Remote Pro (2nd Edition) is a rechargeable, backlit TV remote that adds voice control, a lost-remote finder, and up to three months of battery life on a single USB-C charge.

Designed to replace clutter and simplify streaming, this second-generation Roku remote works with most Roku players and all Roku TVs to power devices on and off, adjust volume, and navigate apps using either buttons or voice commands. It upgrades everyday TV use with backlit keys for low-light viewing, a built-in microphone for hands-free control, and a lost-remote locator so you can stop hunting between the couch cushions. The remote’s rechargeable lithium-ion battery and USB-C charging mean fewer disposable batteries and longer runtimes.

How will the Pro remote change my nightly streaming routine?

The Roku Voice Remote Pro streamlines common tasks so you spend more time watching and less time fumbling. Backlit buttons make selection easy in dim rooms, voice search reduces menu navigating, and programmable controls let you skip juggling multiple remotes.

• Backlit button layout for quick identification in the dark.
• “Hey Roku” voice activation for hands-free searching and playback control.
• Power and volume control to replace a TV remote for many setups.
• USB-C recharge for uninterrupted use—no batteries to swap often.

What performance can I expect from the battery and charging?

This edition focuses on efficiency: a rechargeable cell delivers roughly three months of typical use per full charge and offers about 50% more battery life than the prior model. Charging via USB-C also makes recharging faster and more convenient.

• Up to three months of runtime from a full charge under normal household use.
• USB-C port for easy charging with common cables and adapters.
• Reduced need for disposable batteries, lowering household waste and cost.
• Improved power management compared with the first-gen Pro remote.

Can the remote find itself when it’s lost and how does that work?

The remote includes an audible find feature you can trigger with your voice or the Roku mobile app. Say the wake phrase to your Roku player or tap the app to make the remote emit a sound, speeding up retrieval from under cushions or other hiding spots.

• Voice command “Hey Roku, where’s my remote?” triggers a beeping locator.
• Remote finder also accessible from the free Roku mobile app if voice isn’t convenient.
• Audible tone loud enough for most living-room scenarios.
• No extra hardware required; built into the remote and Roku system.

Will this remote work with my Roku setup and TV?

The Roku Voice Remote Pro (2nd Edition) is compatible with all Roku TV models and most Roku streaming players. Some older Roku models may not support all features, so checking compatibility with your specific device model first is recommended.

• Works with all Roku TVs and the majority of Roku players.
• Voice features require a Roku device that supports voice input.
• Power and volume control depend on your TV’s HDMI-CEC or IR capabilities.
• Consult Roku support if you have a legacy model to confirm feature availability.

Who is this for: The Roku Voice Remote Pro (2nd Edition) suits anyone who wants a single, reliable remote for streaming—particularly households that stream frequently in low light, prefer voice navigation, or want to avoid replacing disposable batteries. It’s a practical upgrade for Roku TV owners and most Roku player users who value convenience features like backlit controls, rechargeable power, and a built-in remote locator. If you use Roku daily and want a cleaner, more capable remote experience, this model delivers a straightforward, eco-friendlier replacement.
