Rubbermaid 34.1 L Slim Rectangular Bin, White — Reinforced Rim, Lightweight Space-Saving Wastebasket

Rubbermaid's 9-gallon white rectangular wastebasket is a durable, space-saving trash can designed to fit under counters, beside toilets, and in tight spots around the home.

This compact Rubbermaid container combines a reinforced rim and smooth interior with a slim rectangular profile so it carries a generous 9-gallon/36-quart capacity without taking up much floor or cabinet space. Made in the USA, the lightweight plastic construction is built to resist dents and daily wear while remaining easy to move and maintain. Its shape and finish are intended for kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, offices, and anywhere a neat, reliable waste solution is needed.

How does this trash can save space in small rooms?

The rectangular design uses depth and height rather than width, letting the bin tuck neatly against walls, beside toilets, or inside narrow cabinets. Its slim footprint keeps walkways clear while delivering a surprising 9-gallon holding volume.

• Slim rectangular form fits next to fixtures and in cabinets
• Height optimized for under-sink and counter storage
• Lightweight for easy repositioning

What makes the rim and body more durable?

Rubbermaid reinforced the top edge and sidewalls so the can resists bending, cracking, and everyday knocks. The sturdy rim also helps keep liners neatly in place and preserves the bin's shape under load.

• Reinforced rim resists deformation from impact
• Thicker sidewalls stand up to frequent handling
• Durable plastic construction designed for long-term use

How easy is it to clean and maintain?

The interior surface is smooth and free of hard-to-reach crevices, allowing debris and liquids to be wiped or rinsed away quickly. Because the can is lightweight, you can tip it for rinsing or bring it outside for a fast wash without straining.

• Smooth inner walls wipe clean in seconds
• Lightweight shell makes emptying and rinsing simple
• Compatible with standard 9-gallon liners for quick bag changes

Where is this wastebasket best used within a home or office?

This model excels in locations that need a tidy, unobtrusive bin with decent capacity. Its size and shape make it ideal for under counters, beside toilets, in office corners, or next to a bedroom vanity.

• Fits under sinks and counters where space is limited
• Works well in bathrooms, offices, bedrooms, and small kitchens
• Neutral white color blends into many décors

Who is this for? The Rubbermaid 9-gallon rectangular wastebasket is suited to anyone looking for a reliable, easy-to-clean bin that conserves floor space without sacrificing capacity. It's a good choice for small households, renters, office spaces, and property managers who want a sturdy, low-maintenance receptacle made in the U.S. Whether you need a discreet under-sink solution, a bathroom bin that stands up to daily use, or an office wastebasket that stays looking neat, this Rubbermaid model delivers practical durability and simple upkeep.
