Samsung Galaxy SmartTag2 Bluetooth Tracker 4-Pack — 2 Black / 2 White, IP67 Water-Resistant, Replaceable Battery

Galaxy SmartTag2 is a compact Bluetooth tracking tag that helps you locate personal items with your Samsung Galaxy phone or tablet. The SmartTag2 pairs with Samsung Galaxy devices running Android 11 or later and taps into Bluetooth and the SmartThings Find network to help you find keys, bags, wallets, and more. Its IP67 rating resists water and dust, and the replaceable CR2032 battery delivers long run time so the tag can quietly safeguard your essentials for months. This 2023 four-pack includes two black and two white tags so you can protect several items at once.

How will SmartTag2 help me find something I misplaced around the house?

Use the Search Nearby feature in the SmartThings app to home in on a lost item when it is within Bluetooth range. If the tag is nearby, the app shows signal strength and a compass-like direction and you can make the tag emit a sound to locate it quickly.

• Search Nearby signal indicator guides you toward the tag
• Compass View gives directional cues for precise locating
• Press the app to trigger an audible beep from the tag

What happens if my tagged item is out of Bluetooth range?

If the SmartTag2 is beyond direct Bluetooth reach, the SmartThings Find network can help locate it by leveraging opt-in Samsung devices nearby. Location updates depend on other Galaxy users in the vicinity and require your device to be registered to a Samsung Account and SmartThings Find.

• Find Network uses other Samsung devices to report tag location anonymously
• Requires SmartThings Find opt-in and Samsung Account sign-in
• Accuracy and updates depend on nearby participating Galaxy devices

How durable is this tracker and how long does the battery last?

SmartTag2 carries an IP67 rating, meaning it withstands dust and temporary submersion in up to 1 meter of water for around 30 minutes—rinse and dry after exposure. The in-box CR2032 battery offers extended standby times, with typical usage lasting many months; enabling Power Saving Mode reduces features but can extend battery life further.

• IP67 dust and water resistance for everyday protection
• Replaceable CR2032 battery; expected long battery life under typical use
• Power Saving Mode limits features to conserve energy when needed

Can SmartTag2 work with smart home devices or routines?

Yes—via the SmartThings app you can link SmartTag2 to certain IoT devices or routines and configure up to two preset conditions at once. That allows simple automation like turning lights on or running a routine when a tag is detected in range.

• Integrates with SmartThings to trigger compatible devices or routines
• Supports two simultaneous preset conditions through the app
• Requires compatible Samsung device and SmartThings setup

Who is this for This four-pack is suited to Samsung Galaxy users who want an easy, low-profile way to monitor multiple personal items—ideal for busy households, frequent travelers, or anyone who routinely misplaces essentials. It’s best for people with Galaxy phones or tablets running Android 11+ who are willing to register the tags to SmartThings Find for the best tracking coverage.
