SAPLIZE Foldable Golf Hitting Mat 23x16 in — 2-in-1 Fairway & Rough Turf with EVA Shock-Absorbent Base

SAPLIZE 23" x 16" Foldable Golf Hitting Mat is a portable 2-in-1 practice turf that combines a fairway surface and a rough surface with an EVA shock-absorbing base for hitting, chipping, and putting practice anywhere.

This compact practice mat delivers a realistic feel for full swings, short game work and putts without taking up much space. At roughly 23 by 16 inches, it’s about 40% larger than typical 3-in-1 collapsible practice mats, and its foldable design lies flat straight from storage. The upgraded turf glue and layered construction are intended to keep synthetic fibers secured under repeated use, while the EVA foam backing cushions impact to protect clubs and hands.

How does the two-sided turf replicate fairway and rough conditions?

The SAPLIZE mat features two distinct grass lengths: a trimmed fairway-style side and a longer rough-style side. The fairway side provides a tight, short-grass response for cleaner contact and consistent ball roll; the rough side lets you practice recovery shots with a deeper pile that creates more resistance under the club.

• Fairway surface mimics short-cut grass for cleaner iron strikes.
• Rough surface uses longer fibers for tougher lie simulation.
• Upgraded glue layer holds turf fibers in place under repeated swings.
• Switch sides to practice varied lies without changing location.

Will the mat protect my clubs and feel realistic on impact?

The mat’s EVA foam base absorbs shock to reduce stress on clubheads and wrists, while the turf layer gives a true ball-to-turf interaction. The cushioning prevents hard jolts on contact and helps the mat survive thousands of strikes without tearing when used as intended.

• EVA foam dissipates impact, preserving club face and shaft.
• Durable turf layer resists fraying thanks to reinforced adhesive.
• Sufficient thickness for realistic feedback on irons and wedges.
• Stable flat lay avoids uneven bounces for consistent practice.

How portable and easy to store is this foldable practice mat?

Designed for convenience, the mat folds for compact transport and storage and will lie flat immediately after unfolding — no permanent creases or bending required. That makes it suitable for quick sessions in the backyard, garage, balcony or office without installing a dedicated practice station.

• Foldable design folds down to a compact shape for carrying.
• Lays flat right away so you can start practice quickly.
• Lightweight enough to move between indoor and outdoor locations.
• Easy to store under beds, in closets or in car trunks.

What drills and players benefit most from this mat?

This mat supports a wide range of practice drills — full swing repetitions, chip-and-run work, pitch shots from the rough side and short putts when combined with a small cup or target. It’s useful for beginners building fundamentals, weekend players keeping skills sharp, and coaches offering compact training aids for demonstrations.

• Full-swing practice for consistent contact and tempo development.
• Short-game drills: chipping, pitching and recovery from thick lies.
• Putting setup when paired with a target or small cup.
• Suitable for both home practice and travel use by coaches and players.
