sapsisel 80" x 80" Extra-Large Picnic Blanket — Waterproof, Foldable 3-Layer Mat for 6–8 People

Sapsisel's 80" x 80" picnic blanket is an extra-large, three-layer, waterproof and foldable mat built to seat up to eight people comfortably while resisting sand, dirt, and moisture.

This roomy outdoor blanket combines a soft polyester surface, a cushioned foam core, and a PEVA waterproof backing to create a versatile, portable mat for beach days, park picnics, outdoor concerts, or indoor play. It rolls down to a compact cylinder with an adjustable belt and carry strap for easy transport, yet spreads out wide enough for families or small groups to sit or lounge together. The materials are chosen for easy cleanup—shake off sand, wipe away spills, and the bottom layer keeps ground dampness from seeping through.

How large is this blanket and how many people can it fit?

The blanket measures 80 inches by 80 inches, making it one of the larger picnic mats available. This size comfortably seats six to eight adults for a casual picnic, or allows four people to lie down side-by-side for sunbathing or naps.

• Full spread: 80" x 80" (approx. 6.5 ft square)
• Seating capacity: seats 6–8 adults
• Lounging space: fits 4 people lying down
• Packed size: about 16" long with a 9" diameter roll

Will it keep me dry and free from sand at the beach?

The bottom layer is made from PEVA, a waterproof material that blocks moisture and prevents sandy ground from seeping up through the blanket. Sand and dirt release quickly—just shake or wipe the surface—and the waterproof backing simplifies cleanup after a day by the water.

• PEVA backing repels water and prevents seepage
• Top polyester layer resists sticking sand and dries fast
• Shake-off and wipe-clean design for quick maintenance
• Works on wet grass, sand, or damp picnic grounds

Is it comfortable enough for long use or for children to play on?

The triple-layer construction pairs a soft polyester top with a foam middle to add cushioning, so you won’t feel every pebble underneath. The surface is gentle for children and suitable for naps, playtime, or sitting through an outdoor event without discomfort.

• Soft polyester top is gentle on skin and baby-safe for lounging
• Foam core adds padding for longer comfort
• Stable base prevents lumps from ground irregularities
• Durable stitching holds layers together through repeated use

How portable is the blanket and how do I carry it?

Although the blanket contains multiple layers for comfort and protection, it’s engineered to stay lightweight and compact when packed. Roll it up into a snug cylinder, secure it with the adjustable belt that includes a hand strap, and it becomes easy to tuck into a car trunk or sling over a shoulder for hikes or beach walks.

• Rolls into a compact 16" x 9" cylinder for storage
• Included adjustable belt with hand strap for carrying
• Fits in backpacks, strollers, or car trunks when folded

It suits people who want a larger footprint than a standard picnic mat—those attending beach outings, outdoor concerts, park gatherings, camping trips, or anyone who needs a waterproof, cushioned, and easy-to-transport ground cover for indoor or outdoor use.
