SBMKK Seed Sprouting Jar Kit is a complete home sprouting set with two 32 oz wide-mouth glass jars, 316 stainless steel sprouting lids, a drip tray, stand and blackout sleeves for easy at-home sprouts.

Grow fresh, crunchy sprouts on your countertop without complicated equipment. This kit supplies two quart-sized, thick-glass jars and tightly fitting 316 stainless-steel sprouting lids that let you rinse and drain seeds easily. Included are a drip tray and a stainless-steel stand to keep jars angled for drainage, plus blackout sleeves to help light-sensitive sprouts develop longer, straighter shoots. Follow simple soak-and-rinse steps and you can harvest small batches of broccoli, alfalfa, mung beans and more in just a few days.

How do I use the kit to sprout seeds at home?

Using the SBMKK kit is a straightforward daily routine: soak, drain, and rinse until sprouts reach the size you want. The wide mouths give easy access to fill, drain, and harvest without transferring to another container. The stainless lids with mesh let water run out while keeping seeds contained for mess-free rinses.

• Soak seeds 6–8 hours, then place in jar and attach sprouting lid.
• Rinse with cool water 2–3 times daily, invert jars in the stand to drain.
• Use blackout sleeves for light-sensitive sprouts; harvest in about 3–7 days depending on seed type.

Which seeds grow best in these wide-mouth jars?

The 32 oz quart jars are roomy enough for small batches of many common sprouting seeds. They perform well with tiny seeds that clump and larger beans that need more space to expand and root. Blackout sleeves help beans and legumes that prefer darker conditions, while other seeds like alfalfa and broccoli respond well to light near the end of growth.

• Recommended: alfalfa, broccoli, mung beans, lentils, chickpeas, and fenugreek.
• Bean and legume sprouts benefit from the blackout sleeves for straighter shoots.
• Smaller seeds yield faster harvests; larger beans take longer but produce thicker sprouts.

What makes the lids, jars and accessories durable and safe?

The jars are made from thick, non-porous, lead-free glass that resists staining and odors for repeat use. The sprouting lids are manufactured from 316 stainless steel—corrosion resistant and food safe—so they withstand frequent rinsing. The drip tray and stainless stand are designed to hold jars at an angle to ensure complete drainage, minimizing mold risk when used with regular rinsing.

• 32 oz thick glass jars: lead-free and easy to sanitize.
• 316 stainless-steel lids: rust-resistant and safe for repeated use.
• Drip tray and stand: stable drainage and countertop protection.

How do I care for and clean the sprouting kit?

Cleaning is simple: disassemble lids, wash glass and metal parts with warm soapy water, and air dry between uses. For deep cleaning, jars and stainless lids are safe to sanitize with a mild vinegar solution or by using hot water. Store the blackout sleeves dry to prevent mildew when not in use.

• Wash after each harvest and dry thoroughly before storage.
• Sanitize occasionally with white vinegar or boiling water for the glass.
• Keep sleeves dry and launder if stained or damp.
