SentrySafe Small Safe P005C is a compact steel lock box with a resettable three-digit combination and tethering cable to secure cash, cards, keys, and small valuables on the go.

This black SentrySafe lock box is built for people who need theft-deterrent security without the bulk of a full-size safe. With solid-steel construction, a keyed-out resettable combination mechanism and an included tethering cable, this model fits into cars, dorm rooms, office drawers, backpacks, and small travel kits. The interior holds essentials like wallets, passports, USB drives and small electronics while the compact footprint makes it easy to store or anchor to a fixed point.

How much will fit inside this compact safe?

The SentrySafe P005C offers 0.05 cubic feet of storage — enough for day-to-day valuables rather than large items. It is sized to accommodate wallets, smartphones, passport, small jewelry, medication vials and multiple USB drives comfortably.

• Exterior dimensions: 2.6 in H x 5.9 in W x 8.0 in D.
• Interior usable space: approximately 2.4 in H x 5.3 in W x 6.6 in D.
• Fits typical passports, slim wallets, and most phones without bulky cases.

How does the combination lock and tethering cable improve security?

The resettable three-digit combination eliminates the need to carry a key and lets you choose a memorable code. The included steel tethering cable lets you anchor the box to a fixed object—deterring opportunistic theft and preventing someone from simply walking away with the unit.

• Resettable 3-digit code for keyless entry and easy code changes.
• Tethering cable secures the box to furniture, vehicle anchors, or fixed hardware.
• Solid-steel housing provides basic physical resistance to casual tampering.

Where is this safe most useful during daily life or travel?

Because of its size and portability, the P005C is ideal for short-term protection in environments where leaving valuables unattended is unavoidable. Use it inside vehicles, in dorm rooms or shared housing, at beach rentals, or tucked into luggage while traveling.

• Car and RV: anchor to seat brackets or fixed points to protect items when parked.
• Dorms and apartments: keep passports, cash, and small electronics inside a locked box.
• Office and coffee shops: secure backups, USB drives, and wallets during quick absences.

What should I expect in terms of build and maintenance?

The P005C combines a steel shell and a simple mechanical lock for low-maintenance use. There are no batteries or electronics to fail; occasional cleaning and code updates are all that’s required for reliable service.

• Durable steel construction resists everyday bumps and handles transport well.
• No batteries needed — mechanical combination remains functional without power.
• Wipe clean exterior finish and check the tether cable for wear periodically.

Who this is for: The SentrySafe Small Safe P005C is designed for students, commuters, short-term travelers and anyone needing a lightweight, portable way to lock up small-yet-important items. It’s best for users who want simple, keyless security and the option to tether their safe to an immovable object.
