SHOKZ OpenRun bone conduction open-ear Bluetooth sport headphones — Black, IP67, 8-hour battery

SHOKZ OpenRun are lightweight open-ear Bluetooth sport headphones that use bone conduction to deliver music and calls while keeping your ears free and your surroundings audible.

Designed for runners, cyclists, gym-goers and anyone who wants music without earbuds, the SHOKZ OpenRun combines an ultra-light wraparound frame with eighth-generation bone conduction technology. The open-ear format transmits sound through the cheekbones so your ear canals remain unobstructed, improving situational awareness. With an IP67 rating, moisture detection for safe charging, and eight hours of continuous playback, these headphones prioritize comfort, safety and reliable wireless performance across Android, iOS and other Bluetooth devices.

How comfortable are these for long workouts and everyday wear?

The OpenRun uses a featherweight, wraparound frame and a wireless open-ear fit that sits outside the ear canal, reducing pressure and heat common with in-ear designs. The included Shokz headband helps keep the headset stable during movement without tight clamping.

• Featherweight wraparound frame for minimal fatigue.
• Open-ear design avoids ear canal discomfort and moisture buildup.
• Flexible band keeps fit secure during dynamic activity.

Will I still hear traffic and people while listening?

Yes. Bone conduction delivers audio through vibrations on the cheekbones, so your ear canals remain open to ambient sound. This makes the OpenRun suitable for outdoor training where hearing traffic, announcements or conversation matters.

• Open-ear listening preserves environmental awareness.
• Suitable for road running, cycling, and urban commutes.
• Clear call pickup reduces the need to remove the headset mid-activity.

What battery life and charging options do these headphones offer?

OpenRun provides up to eight hours of continuous playback on a single charge, sufficient for most long workouts and daily use. If you need a quick boost, a 10-minute quick charge delivers about 1.5 hours of listening time, and the headset supports magnetic induction charging for reliable connection.

• Up to 8 hours of music, calls and podcasts per charge.
• 10-minute quick charge for approximately 1.5 hours of use.
• Magnetic induction charging for convenient docking.

Are they durable and safe around sweat and rain?

Built to handle intense workouts, the OpenRun carries an IP67 rating that resists sweat, rain and dust. The headphones also include a moisture detection alert to prevent unsafe charging if wet—note that IP67 protects against water exposure but the product is not intended for swimming.

• IP67 waterproof and dust-resistant construction.
• Moisture detection alert protects charging safety.
• Rugged design made for training and outdoor use.

Who is this for? The SHOKZ OpenRun is ideal for active people who prioritize awareness and comfort while listening—runners, cyclists, commuters, gym members and anyone who dislikes in-ear buds. It suits users who want solid battery life, dependable Bluetooth compatibility across devices, and a sweatproof design that stays comfortable during long sessions. If you need full noise isolation or swim-ready headphones, consider alternatives; if you want reliable open-ear audio with clear calls and long wearability, OpenRun is a strong choice.
