Simply 18x20x1 MERV 8 Air Filter — 6-Pack Pleated Home HVAC Filters, 1" Thin

Simply 18x20x1 MERV 8 air filter 6-pack delivers reliable pleated filtration for home HVAC, capturing common airborne particles to improve indoor air quality.

These Simply Filters pleated air filters are sized for broad compatibility with residential and light-commercial HVAC systems and shipped as a six-pack for extended coverage. Each filter is built with a higher pleat count for greater surface area, assembled in the USA from American-sourced components, and wrapped to arrive dust- and germ-free. The listed nominal size is 18" x 20" x 1" with an actual measurement of 17.81" x 19.81" x 0.75", designed to slide into most return grilles, furnace slots, and air handler frames.

How do these filters affect airflow and efficiency?

The pleated design increases the filter media surface area so the unit can trap more particles without dramatically restricting airflow. MERV 8 rating balances capture performance with system compatibility, making these filters suitable for most home HVAC systems when replaced on a regular schedule.

• Higher pleat count for improved particle-holding capacity.
• MERV 8 rating for effective capture of dust, pollen, and pet dander.
• Thin 1" profile fits common residential filter slots with minimal airflow impact.

How long will each filter last and how do I replace them?

Filter life depends on household conditions, but these pleated filters are intended for typical use cycles of up to three months. Replacement is straightforward—align the arrow with airflow direction and slide the filter into the slot or grille; always confirm the frame fits snugly to avoid bypass.

• Typical service interval: up to three months under normal conditions.
• Follow airflow arrows for proper installation in returns and furnaces.
• Heat-sealed shrink wrap protects filters in transit until you are ready to install.

What particles and environments are these filters best for?

Rated MERV 8, these filters capture common airborne contaminants such as dust, lint, pollen, and pet dander, making them a practical choice for homes, apartments, and small offices. They are not designed for medical-grade or high-risk industrial filtration, but they help reduce everyday household particulates.

• Ideal for homes with pets, city dust, and seasonal pollen.
• Suitable for residential and light-commercial HVAC systems.
• Not intended for HEPA-level or surgical environments.

Are these filters compatible with my furnace or AC unit?

Simply Filters are built to fit a wide range of manufacturers and models thanks to the nominal 18" x 20" x 1" sizing and the actual frame dimensions of 17.81" x 19.81" x 0.75". They are comparable in fit and function to many retail options and can be used in most return grilles, air handlers, and furnace slots when the unit specifies a 1" filter.

• Nominal size fits standard 18x20 filter openings.
• Works with common brands offering 1" filter frames.
• Check your equipment manual if your system requires a thicker or specialty filter.
