Skillmatics Poke-in Art Mess-Free Craft Kit – Magical Princesses, 700+ Fabric Squares & Wand

Skillmatics Poke-in Art – Magical Princesses is a mess-free craft kit that lets children decorate six foam princess figures and a wand using over 700 colorful fabric squares for instant display and pretend play.

This hands-on kit combines simple assembly with tactile decoration so kids can design unique princess gowns without glue, paint, or scissors. The set includes 700+ fabric squares, foam princesses, a wand kit, stands, poke-in tools and a protective pad. It’s designed to keep surfaces clean while encouraging creativity, fine-motor practice, and independent play in children aged 4–9.

How do children use the Poke-in Art kit step by step?

Using the kit is straightforward: position a foam princess on the included poke-in pad, then press fabric squares into the pre-made slots with the poke-in stick to form decorative gowns. Repeat until each princess is covered, set each figure on a stand, and assemble the wand by decorating the foam star and inserting the wooden stick.

• Place foam figure on poke-in pad for stability
• Use poke-in stick to tuck fabric squares into slots
• Finish each figure and mount on its stand
• Decorate foam star, insert wand stick to complete

What makes this craft kit mess-free and parent-friendly?

The kit eliminates common messy supplies — no glue, paint, scissors or markers — so cleanup is minimal. The included poke-in pad protects tabletops and floors while keeping the fabric pieces contained, so parents can feel confident about crafts indoors.

• No adhesive, paints, or cutting required
• Poke-in pad shields surfaces from stray pieces
• Reusable poke-in sticks for neat, controlled placement
• Easy storage of fabric squares to prevent spills

Which skills does Skillmatics Poke-in Art help develop?

While designing gowns and assembling the wand, children practice small-muscle control and coordination. The repeated placement of tiny fabric squares supports the pincer grasp, hand-eye coordination, and visual planning; it also encourages creative decision-making as kids choose colors and patterns.

• Pincer grasp and fine-motor strength
• Hand-eye coordination through targeted placement
• Visual perception and pattern recognition
• Independent creative thinking and confidence

How long does a project take and what’s included in the box?

Projects vary by child, but decorating one princess typically takes 10–30 minutes depending on detail chosen, and the full set can provide multiple sessions of play. The kit is stocked with more than 700 fabric squares plus six foam princesses, a foam star, a wooden wand stick, six stands, two poke-in sticks, a poke-in pad, and clear instructions.
