SlumberPod Blackout Sleep Tent for Pack ’n Play — Original Black with Mini Fan, Travel-Ready

SlumberPod Original is a portable, breathable blackout sleep tent with an included mini fan that creates a private dark sleep space over Pack ’n Plays, mini cribs, and similar toddler sleep surfaces.

Whether you’re sharing a hotel room, navigating naps in a bright nursery, or maintaining a bedtime routine while visiting family, SlumberPod offers a compact solution that reduces ambient light and provides targeted ventilation. The design is bottomless so it fits most play yards and allows caregivers to lift children in and out easily. The included travel tote keeps everything together, and the lightweight frame packs down for carry-on travel.

How does SlumberPod reduce light and create a calmer sleep space?

The tent uses a breathable blackout fabric engineered to block the vast majority of external light while still allowing air to pass through. This creates a darker, more consistent environment that helps toddlers and infants differentiate sleep time from waking time even in bright rooms.

• Breathable blackout fabric that reduces up to 99% of ambient light
• Enclosed, private area that supports sleep routines in shared spaces
• Bottomless design keeps the mattress accessible while darkening the immediate sleeping zone

Is it safe and comfortable for my baby overnight?

SlumberPod is built from breathable materials and includes ventilation features to maintain airflow. It has been assessed for rebreathing and tested to meet or exceed juvenile product safety standards in multiple regions. The interior is roomy enough for growing babies and toddlers while remaining secure and easy for caregivers to check on the child.

• Four adjustable vents and monitor pocket for visual checks
• Two pockets sized for the included mini fan and its placement
• Tested to meet safety standards in the USA, Canada, and Europe

What comes in the box and how easy is it to use when traveling?

The SlumberPod Original ships with the blackout tent, a compact mini fan, and a travel tote that fits in a carry-on. The collapsible frame sets up quickly without tools and packs into the tote so it’s simple to take on vacations, visits, or overnight stays.

• Includes mini fan designed to fit into tent pockets for airflow
• Lightweight frame that opens and folds down in minutes
• Travel tote sized for carry-on convenience

Which sleep surfaces and ages does it fit best?

The bottomless SlumberPod fits most play yards, Pack ’n Plays, mini cribs, toddler cots, and inflatable toddler mattresses. Its tall, roomy interior accommodates infants through toddler stages, and the opening and frame geometry make laying down or lifting a child straightforward for caregivers.

• Compatible with most standard play yards and similar sleep surfaces
• Taller interior for easier access and growing children
• Designed for indoor use where portable darkening is needed

Who is this for? Parents, grandparents, and caregivers who need a portable, easy-to-set-up option to create a darker, private sleep zone for infants and toddlers will find SlumberPod especially useful. It’s a practical tool for families sharing rooms, traveling frequently, or trying to maintain consistent sleep routines away from home. Recommended by numerous parents and sleep consultants, it’s well suited to those seeking a safe, breathable way to reduce light without permanent room modifications.
