SpaceTent VF3502 Shop Vac Replacement Bags 5-Pack Size A — Fits RIDGID 45.4–60.6 L, Double-Layer Dust Capture

SpaceTent 5-pack VF3502 replacement bags are disposable, double-layer paper dust bags sized to fit many RIDGID 12–16 gallon shop vacuums for dry debris collection.

These replacement bags (part #23743) give you a simple, hygienic way to capture and discard sawdust, drywall dust, pet hair, and other non-hazardous dry waste without contacting the mess or fouling the vacuum’s interior. Made with a heavy-duty outer paper plenum and an inner meltblown nonwoven layer, each bag is designed to trap fine particles while maintaining steady airflow so suction performance stays strong as the bag fills.

Which shop vac models will these VF3502 bags work with?

The SpaceTent VF3502 (23743) bags are cut to Size A and engineered for specific RIDGID 12, 14 and 16 gallon models that use a nozzle-style inlet. They do not fit machines that connect the hose at the top or models explicitly listed as incompatible.

• Compatible 12-gallon examples: HD1200, HD1280, MOB1200 and select 503xx RV series.
• Compatible 14-gallon examples: HD1400, HD1402C, WD1450 and some 503xx models.
• Compatible 16-gallon examples: HD1600, HD1640, WD1640/1680, RT16000 and various 503xx models.
• Not compatible with WD12000/WD12450 family, WD1625 family, or any unit with a top hose connection.

How do these bags improve vacuum performance and maintenance?

Using disposable bags keeps dust off the vacuum drum and cartridge filters, which reduces wear on internal parts and helps maintain consistent suction. The two-layer design traps very small particles while allowing air to pass, limiting filter clogging and extending filter life.

• Outer virgin woodpulp paper resists tearing and preserves bag shape.
• Inner meltblown polypropylene captures fine dust down to about 0.03 μm at high efficiency.
• Airflow pattern deposits debris at the bottom so suction remains effective as the bag fills.
• Cardboard collar lets you seal and remove the bag cleanly to avoid dust escape.

What sizes, capacity and handling instructions should I know?

Each bag measures roughly 36.6" by 15.4" when spread flat with a 3" collar diameter, sized for Size A in the listed RIDGID models. These are intended for dry materials only and should be replaced before overfilling for best results.

• Dimensions: 36-3/5" (930 mm) long × 15-3/5" (400 mm) high; 3" (77 mm) collar.
• Use only for dry, non-hazardous debris such as wood dust, drywall dust, pet hair and household dirt.
• Do not reuse bags; replace at about two-thirds full to maintain suction and odor control.
• Installation: align collar with inlet, press collar to drum, remove by popping collar out of inlet.

Are these bags safe for workshop and household use?

Yes — when used as intended for non-toxic, dry debris. They are not designed for wet pickup, hazardous powders, or flammable materials and should never be reused.

• Designed for dry pick-up only; do not use with liquids or combustible dusts.
• Dispose of full bags in regular waste where allowed; seal cardboard collar to reduce dust release.
• Regular replacement prevents odors and preserves vacuum efficiency.

Who is this for? The SpaceTent VF3502 5-pack is aimed at tradespeople, woodworkers, remodelers and tidy-minded homeowners who own compatible RIDGID 12–16 gallon shop vacuums and want a clean, efficient way to collect dry debris without constantly cleaning the vacuum drum or replacing cartridge filters. If you need disposable, high-filtration bags that retain fine dust and help keep your machine running longer, this set provides a convenient supply of replacements.
