STA-BIL Fuel Stabilizer for Storage 946 ml — Keeps Gas Fresh 24 Months, Corrosion Protection

STA-BIL Storage is a concentrated fuel stabilizer that preserves gasoline for up to 24 months and protects fuel systems from corrosion.

Whether you store lawn mowers, motorcycles, seasonal vehicles, or boats, treated fuel resists breakdown and helps engines start reliably after long idle periods. This 32 oz bottle mixes easily with gasoline, treats large tanks or multiple small engines, and contains a blend of antioxidants, corrosion inhibitors, and detergents formulated specifically for storage applications.

How long will my gasoline stay usable when treated with STA-BIL Storage?

When added at the recommended dose, STA-BIL Storage keeps gasoline stable for up to 24 months, preventing varnish, gum, and phase separation that can clog fuel systems. It works with both ethanol-blended and non-ethanol fuels to slow chemical degradation and maintain combustibility.

• Treatment lifespan: up to 24 months for stored gasoline
• Dose rate: 1 oz per 2.5 gallons of fuel
• Suitable for ethanol and non-ethanol fuels

Will STA-BIL Storage protect my engine and fuel system from corrosion?

Yes — STA-BIL Storage contains corrosion inhibitors that coat metal surfaces inside the tank and fuel lines, helping prevent rust and deterioration during storage. The formula also includes detergents to keep injectors and carburetors cleaner when the engine is restarted.

• Forms a protective film on metal components
• Reduces fuel system buildup and deposits
• Improves long-term fuel system reliability

How do I use STA-BIL Storage for best results?

Pour the measured amount of STA-BIL Storage into the fuel tank before adding gasoline, then fill the tank. After fueling, run the engine for about five minutes so treated fuel cycles through the entire system and coats internal parts.

• Measure 1 oz per 2.5 gallons of gas
• Add to tank prior to refueling
• Run the engine ~5 minutes after fueling to distribute treatment

How long is the product itself usable once opened?

The product retains its effectiveness for two years after opening. Manufacturing date is printed as a 5-digit code on the bottle (YYDDD); unopened shelf life extends to five years from production.

• Open-bottle expiration: 2 years
• Unopened shelf life: 5 years from production
• Locate production code on back of bottle (YYDDD format)

Who is this for: STA-BIL Storage is designed for homeowners, small engine users, marina operators, fleet managers, and seasonal vehicle owners who need dependable fuel preservation during long storage intervals. If you keep lawn and garden equipment, classic cars, motorcycles, ATVs, or boats out of service for months at a time, this product helps avoid fuel-related starting problems and costly repairs.
