Tea Tree Special Shampoo 1000 ml — Deep-Cleansing Clarifying Shampoo for Oily Scalp with Tea Tree & Peppermint

Tea Tree Special Shampoo is a salon-grade cleansing shampoo that refreshes the scalp and lifts away oil and buildup for hair that feels clean, cool, and full of shine.

Formulated by John Paul Mitchell Systems, this 33.8 fl. oz. bottle delivers the brand's signature Tingle Complex—tea tree, peppermint and lavender—to gently remove impurities while leaving a revitalizing scent. The formula is suitable for all hair types and is especially useful if your scalp tends to feel oily or weighted. Packaging updates and refill options make it easy to choose a more sustainable routine without sacrificing performance.

How does Tea Tree Special Shampoo clean oily or buildup-prone scalps?

The shampoo uses surfactants and the aromatic Tingle Complex to lift sebum, styling residue and environmental grime from the hair and scalp. Its clarifying action helps restore a lightweight feel without overly stripping natural moisture when used as directed.

• Removes oil, dirt and product residue for a refreshed scalp.
• Tea tree helps create a clean-feeling base; peppermint adds a cooling sensation.
• Suitable for frequent use when you need regular cleansing.

Will this shampoo change my hair’s texture or shine?

Tea Tree Special Shampoo is designed to cleanse and enhance natural luster rather than alter your hair’s structure. By clearing away buildup, it helps hair look fuller and reflect light more evenly, improving apparent shine and manageability.

• Promotes a fuller look by removing residue that can weigh hair down.
• Leaves hair with a noticeable sheen and a lightweight finish.
• Peppermint and lavender deliver a fresh scent that complements the clean appearance.

How should I use the 33.8 fl. oz. bottle for best results?

Apply a quarter-sized amount to wet hair, massage into the scalp to work up a lather, then rinse thoroughly; repeat if you’ve used heavy styling products. For ongoing scalp care, follow with a compatible conditioner or occasional clarifying treatment as needed.

• Massage gently at the scalp to dislodge oils and debris.
• Rinse fully and repeat for heavy buildup or after styling product use.
• Pair with Tea Tree conditioners or treatments to maintain moisture balance.

Are there sustainability or packaging options available?

Yes—Tea Tree now offers durable aluminum bottles and larger liter refill pouches made partly from post-consumer recycled plastic to reduce waste and footprint. Choosing refills can lower packaging waste, water use and greenhouse gas emissions compared with single-use bottles.

• Aluminum bottles are durable and designed for reuse with liter refill pouches.
• Refill pouches use 30% PCR plastic and save space and resources in transit.
• Packaging transitions mean the product you receive may look different than images shown.
