Teacher Created Resources Burlap Bulletin Board Roll 1.2 m x 3.7 m — Non-woven, Wipeable, Tear-Resistant Classroom Backdrop

Teacher Created Resources Burlap Better Than Paper is a 4' x 12' non-woven bulletin board roll that looks like burlap, hangs easily, resists tearing, and wipes clean for repeated classroom use.

This roll is designed to give teachers a durable, low-hassle backdrop for classroom bulletin boards, displays, and seasonal décor. Unlike traditional craft paper, this lightweight non-woven fabric resists wrinkles and staple tears, accepts tape or staples for attachments, and can be wiped clean or sanitized. The product measures 4 feet by 12 feet, providing ample coverage for multiple boards or one large display.

How does this material save setup time and reduce frustrating paper problems?

The non-woven construction stays smooth and flat when unrolled, cutting down the fiddly smoothing and taping that paper often requires. Because it is lightweight yet sturdy, you can hang it quickly with staples, push pins, or tape, and it won’t tear or wrinkle like conventional bulletin paper.

• Unrolls smoothly for immediate use
• Hangs with staples, tape, or pins without ripping
• Size covers multiple boards or one large backdrop (4' x 12')

Can I attach student work, posters, or borders without damaging the surface?

Yes. The fabric tolerates staples and standard classroom tape without leaving conspicuous holes or runs. You can layer borders, subject headers, and student projects, and remove or rearrange items without harming the backdrop.

• Staples and tape hold securely yet remove cleanly
• Resists visible staple holes and tearing
• Works well with trims, pocket charts, and laminated posters

Is the surface easy to clean and maintain between uses?

The roll features a write-on/wipe-off friendly surface that can be wiped with a damp cloth and, if needed, sprayed with disinfectant for routine cleaning. This makes it simple to refresh displays, remove marker smudges, or prepare the board for the next theme without replacing the entire background.

• Wipeable surface for quick cleanups
• Compatible with common disinfectant sprays when used per label directions
• Durable enough for repeated classroom cycles

How customizable is the roll for different classroom themes and layouts?

The material trims easily with scissors or a craft knife so you can cut it to size, shape borders, or create layered effects. Its neutral burlap appearance pairs well with seasonal accents, subject-specific decorations, and color themes, offering flexibility across grade levels.

• Cut into any size or shape without fraying
• Neutral texture complements colorful accents and labels
• Reusable for multiple themes throughout the year

Who is this for? Teachers and school staff who need a reliable, reusable backdrop for classroom bulletin boards, hallway displays, and temporary exhibits will find this roll especially useful. It suits PreK–Grade 8 classrooms, art rooms, and school common areas where frequent updates, easy cleaning, and damage resistance are priorities. If you want an alternative to fragile bulletin paper that still accepts staples and tape and looks polished, this burlap-style roll is a practical choice.
