Terro Outdoor Liquid Ant Bait Stations 12-Pack — 30 ml Pre-Filled Stakes for Yards & Gardens

These 12 prefilled outdoor bait stations come with stakes and 1 ounce of liquid per station, offering a straightforward baiting strategy for common household ants such as acrobat, crazy, ghost, and little black ants. The design encourages workers to feed and transport the liquid to the nest, where it is shared among colony members. Because the product relies on ants returning to the nest, you may notice increased activity at first—this is expected and part of the baiting process. Stations can be secured into soil or gravel with included stakes or placed without stakes in garages, sheds, or covered outdoor areas.

How do I set up and activate a TERRO outdoor bait station?

Activation is simple and tool-free: push the bait cup down, twist to open, and the station is ready. Use the stake to anchor the station in soil or gravel for stability, or place it upright on flat surfaces when stakes aren’t needed. Position stations along ant trails, near nest entrances, or where you regularly see activity for best results.

• Push down and twist the cup to open the bait reservoir
• Insert the stake into the base for in-ground placement
• Place stations near ant trails, fences, foundations, or potted plants
• Replace stations after bait is gone or according to label timing

What results should I expect and how quickly will ant numbers decline?

Because ants must feed and return to the colony, you may see more worker ants at first as they discover the liquid. Ant activity typically decreases over days to a few weeks as the bait moves through the colony. Results vary with species, colony size, and placement; consistent monitoring and correct placement speed up effectiveness.

• Initial increase in visible ants is normal and expected
• Noticeable reduction often occurs within days to a few weeks
• Effectiveness improves when stations are placed along active trails
• Multiple stations cover larger areas or multiple nest sites

Where can I use these bait stations safely around my property?

TERRO outdoor bait stations are built for outdoor use and for protected indoor spots like garages and sheds. Keep them out of reach of children and pets and avoid placing them in wet or flooded areas. For maximum convenience, use stakes in soil beds or gravel and set stations on flat surfaces where ants are most active.

• Ideal for yards, gardens, patios, foundations, and driveways
• Use without stakes inside garages, sheds, or covered porches
• Do not place in standing water or areas prone to heavy flooding
• Keep away from children’s play areas and pet feeding zones

Who is this for: Homeowners, gardeners, and property managers seeking a low-effort, bait-based approach to reduce common outdoor ant populations will find these 12 prefilled TERRO stations practical. They suit people who prefer targeted baiting over broad-spray methods and need multiple placements across yards, patios, planters, and outbuildings. If you want an approachable, stake-mounted option to attract worker ants and let them take bait back to nests, this value pack supplies an extended setup for yards and perimeters.
