Tetra Tropical Colour Crisps Fish Food, 210 g — Floating, Colour-Enhancing Low-Heat Formula

TetraPro Tropical Color Crisps is a floating, color-enhancing crisp food formulated to support vibrant coloration and efficient digestion for tropical aquarium fish.

Designed for hobbyists who want healthy, colorful fish without clouded water, this 7.41 oz pouch delivers a precision nutrient blend made with a low-heat process to better preserve vitamins and natural pigments. The recipe balances protein and fat to improve metabolism and reduce waste, while added biotin supports overall fish resilience. Crisps float longer than flakes so fish have extra time to feed and less uneaten food sinks to foul the tank.

How do these crisps help fish show brighter color?

TetraPro Tropical Color Crisps contain a higher concentration of natural color enhancers and pigments that help bring out reds, blues and golds already present in tropical species. Regular feeding as part of a balanced diet allows pigments from the food to be incorporated into the fish’s natural coloration over time.

• Natural color-enhancing ingredients tailored for tropical species
• Low-heat processing preserves pigment integrity
• Balanced nutrient mix supports healthy pigment development

Will this food keep my aquarium water clear?

The formula is designed for easy digestion, which reduces undigested waste that can cloud aquarium water. Because the crisps float longer and soften gradually, fish are more likely to consume the full portion before it disperses, helping maintain clearer water when fed as directed.

• Easy-to-digest composition reduces solid waste
• Floating crisps allow complete feeding before sinking
• Follow feeding guidelines to avoid excess and preserve clarity

What feeding routine is recommended for tropical fish?

Feed two to three times daily, offering only as much food as your fish can eat within about three minutes. Different species and life stages have varying needs, so adjust portion sizes accordingly and consult your local pet specialist for species-specific advice.

• Feed 2–3 times per day in small amounts
• Remove uneaten food promptly to prevent water issues
• Adjust portions by species, age, and activity level

What makes the low-heat process important?

Tetra’s exclusive low-heat manufacturing method preserves heat-sensitive vitamins and nutrients that can break down under high temperatures. By retaining these essential elements, the crisps deliver a more complete nutritional profile for growth, coloration and overall condition.

• Retains fragile vitamins and natural pigments
• Helps maintain nutrient bioavailability for fish
• Supports consistent quality across batches

Who is this for: TetraPro Tropical Color Crisps suit aquarium enthusiasts who keep a variety of tropical fish and want a single, convenient food that supports vivid coloration, easy digestion and water clarity. It’s appropriate for both beginner hobbyists and experienced keepers looking for a reliable daily staple, but always tailor feeding amounts to each species’ needs.
