Tevila XL Stainless Steel Open-Top Litter Box, Light Grey — 10.2" High Sides, Rustproof & Easy-Clean

The Tevila XL Open Top Stainless Steel Litter Box is a roomy, rustproof metal pan with high sides designed to give large cats generous digging space while resisting odors and stains.

This heavy-duty open-top box combines an extra-large interior with a 5.7" splash guard and non-porous stainless steel construction to reduce lingering smells, simplify cleaning, and contain mess from vigorous diggers and sprayers. It arrives as a complete set including a durable scoop and four non-slip pads, so it’s ready to use on most floors without extra accessories.

How does this litter box keep floors and surroundings cleaner?

High sides and a raised splash guard stop most litter scatter and help prevent urine from escaping the pan. The solid metal basin forms a tight, anti-leak shape that protects floors better than shallow plastic trays.

• 5.7" tall internal splash guard (10.2" overall height) reduces flying litter and splashes
• Deep basin holds more litter to limit overspill during digging
• Non-slip pads keep the box from sliding on tile, wood, or laminate
• Curved rim for easy lifting and transport without tipping

What makes stainless steel better than plastic for odor and hygiene?

Stainless steel is non-porous, so it does not trap urine or litter residue the way porous plastics can. This means fewer embedded odors, easier sanitation, and a surface that resists scratches where bacteria and smells can hide.

• Rustproof metal that won’t absorb smells over time
• Scratch-resistant finish prevents residue buildup
• Smooth, rounded corners allow quick rinsing and wiping
• Open-top design enables fast scooping and visual inspection

Will this size fit my large cat or multiple cats?

The XL interior measures 22.8" long by 14.5" wide by 10.2" high, offering ample room for Maine Coons and other large breeds to turn, dig, and position comfortably. The extra depth also means you can use more litter, extending time between full refills for multi-cat households.

• Extra-large footprint fits big or extra-large cats
• Deep basin holds more litter for longer use between changes
• Open top prevents size restrictions from hooded lids
• Stable base suitable for one or several cats sharing

How easy is cleaning and maintenance?

Cleaning is straightforward: because the steel surface is non-stick and non-porous, waste and residue rinse away with minimal scrubbing. The included scoop is sturdy and won’t damage the pan, and the rounded interior corners remove the common dirt traps found in plastic trays.

• Non-stick stainless steel lets you wipe or rinse clean quickly
• Rounded corners eliminate hard-to-clean seams
• Included scoop designed not to scratch the bowl
• Durable finish reduces need for replacement or deep cleaning

Who is this for? The Tevila XL Open Top Stainless Steel Litter Box is built for owners of large or active cats who need a durable, hygienic solution that contains scatter and resists odors. It suits multi-cat households, people with cats prone to vigorous digging or light spraying, and anyone seeking a long-lasting alternative to plastic pans. If you want a low-maintenance, rustproof litter pan that stays put and is easy to clean, this stainless steel XL box is a practical choice.
