TevraPet Activate II Flea & Tick Treatment for Extra-Large Dogs 24.9+ kg — Topical, 4-Month Waterproof Protection

TevraPet Activate II is a monthly topical flea and tick treatment for extra-large dogs (55+ lbs) that delivers fast, waterproof protection and repels and kills fleas, ticks, and mosquitoes for 30 days per dose.

Designed as an affordable alternative to leading veterinary options, TevraPet Activate II provides four pre-measured topical doses for larger dogs. Formulated for quick action and made in the USA, each tube treats one application and starts working shortly after application, helping to interrupt the flea life cycle and reduce parasite exposure in your home.

How quickly will I see results after applying Activate II?

Visible reductions in flea and tick activity typically begin within 12 hours of application. The formula acts on contact, so it can eliminate adults and reduce further infestation while also disrupting the lifecycle of immature fleas.

• Typical action: first 12–24 hours for adult fleas and ticks
• Monthly maintenance needed to sustain protection
• Waterproof immediately after application for continuous effect

Is this product safe for my extra-large dog and how is dosing handled?

Each tube contains a dose calibrated for dogs weighing 55 pounds and above, eliminating guesswork. The product is labeled for use on puppies older than seven weeks; follow the package for precise age and weight guidelines and consult your veterinarian for special health concerns.

• Single-use tubes sized for 55+ lb dogs
• Suitable for puppies 7 weeks and older per label
• Apply monthly to maintain continuous protection

What makes topical drops like Activate II different from oral treatments?

Topical applications create a protective layer on the dog’s skin and coat that kills parasites on contact before they bite. Unlike some oral drugs, Activate II repels as well as kills fleas, ticks, and mosquitoes, which can reduce the number of parasite bites.

• Kills on contact—no need for pests to bite first
• Repellent action reduces exposure to bites
• Waterproof and stays effective after bathing (wait 24 hours to bathe)

How should I apply Activate II and what aftercare is recommended?

Apply one full tube monthly directly to the dog’s skin at the base of the neck or along the back where the animal cannot lick it. Avoid bathing for 24 hours after application to ensure the product bonds to the skin and distributes across the coat.

• Part the hair and apply to exposed skin at the recommended site
• Do not let dogs groom each other until product dries
• Reapply every 30 days for ongoing prevention

Who is this for: TevraPet Activate II is aimed at owners of extra-large dogs (55+ lbs) who want a cost-effective, vet-parallel topical option to control fleas, ticks, and mosquitoes. It suits pet parents who prefer a waterproof, once-a-month routine and need pre-measured doses for larger breeds. If your dog spends time outdoors, interacts with other animals, or you live in a region with seasonal parasite activity, this product can be part of a comprehensive parasite-control plan. Always read the label and consult your veterinarian for any animal with health concerns, pregnant or lactating females, or if using other medications on your pet.
