The Honest Kitchen Ocean Chews Crispy Cod Fish Skins Dog Treats, 156 g — Human-Grade, High-Omega Rawhide Alternative

Ocean Chews Crispy Cod Fish Skins are a single-ingredient, human-grade dehydrated cod-skin chew that gives dogs a high-protein, omega-rich alternative to rawhide.

Made by The Honest Kitchen, these chews are gently dehydrated wild-caught cod skins produced in a human food facility to deliver a simple, recognizable snack. They concentrate real fish nutrients—especially omega-3s—into a crunchy, long-lasting chew that satisfies natural chewing urges without added fillers, grains, or artificial preservatives.

What are these chews made from and how are they processed?

Ocean Chews contain just one ingredient: wild-caught cod skin. The skins are handled to human-grade standards and gently dehydrated to lock in flavor and nutritional value while keeping texture firm and crunchy.

• 100% wild-caught cod skins
• Produced in human food facilities under human-grade standards
• Slow dehydration to preserve nutrients and flavor

How do these treats support skin and coat health?

Cod skin is naturally rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which contribute to healthy skin and a glossy coat as part of a balanced diet. These chews provide a concentrated source of those fatty acids without added fillers or meat meals.

• Natural source of omega-3s for skin and coat support
• Single-ingredient profile reduces exposure to unnecessary additives
• Suitable as an occasional supplement to regular nutrition

Are Ocean Chews a good alternative to traditional rawhide?

Yes—these dehydrated fish skins offer a digestible, grain-free option for dogs that enjoy chewing. Because they’re simply dried fish skin rather than layered or chemically treated rawhide, many owners choose them when seeking a cleaner, easier-to-digest chew.

• Rawhide-free, grain-free formulation
• Dehydrated texture that satisfies chewing instincts
• No artificial preservatives, colors, or flavors

How should I serve these chews and what size dog are they best for?

The 5.5 oz bag contains several varying-size pieces; supervise your dog while chewing and offer appropriate piece sizes for safety. These chews work well for medium to large dogs needing a longer-lasting chew, but smaller pieces can be used for smaller breeds under supervision.

• Break into appropriate portions for your dog’s size
• Always supervise chewing to prevent choking
• Serve as an occasional treat alongside a balanced diet

Who is this for: Ocean Chews are designed for dog owners who want a straightforward, minimally processed chew made from a single, identifiable ingredient. They appeal to people seeking human-grade sourcing and a fish-based option that supports skin and coat condition without grains, fillers, or artificial additives. Ideal for pet parents wanting a digestible rawhide alternative for medium to large chewers, or anyone who prefers single-ingredient treats made in human food facilities.
