Thermacell Mosquito Repellent Refills — 30 Mats & 10 Fuel Cartridges, 120 Hours DEET-Free 4.6 m Protection

Thermacell Mosquito Repellent Refills deliver 120 hours of outdoor mosquito protection with 30 repellent mats and 10 12-hour fuel cartridges.

When mosquitoes interrupt dinner on the patio, backyard gatherings, or camping trips, these Thermacell refills restore a comfortable, mosquito-reduced zone without applying sprays to skin. Designed for use with any Thermacell fuel-powered mosquito repeller, the kit includes DEET-free mats and compact butane fuel cartridges that heat the proprietary repellent to create a 15-foot protection radius. The system is scent-free, flame-free, and intended for outdoor use to keep your outdoor spaces more enjoyable throughout the season.

How quickly will protection start and how long does each refill last?

Your repeller begins heating immediately; full protection typically forms within 15 minutes. Each repellent mat provides approximately 4 hours of coverage while each fuel cartridge runs about 12 hours.

• Starts protecting in about 15 minutes after turning the device on.
• One mat = ~4 hours of repellent release.
• One butane cartridge = ~12 hours of heat source time.
• This pack equals ~120 hours total of protection (30 mats × 4 hours).

Which Thermacell devices are compatible with these refills?

These refills are formulated for Thermacell fuel-powered repellers and are compatible with the Fuel-ZoneGuard line and other Thermacell units that accept the same mats and butane cartridges. Using genuine Thermacell refills ensures the intended performance and fit.

• Fits all Thermacell fuel-powered repellers that take 4-hour mats.
• Use the included 12-hour butane cartridges for proper heating.
• Genuine refills maintain designed coverage and safety characteristics.
• Avoid third-party mats or cartridges to preserve performance reliability.

What does the repellent do and is it safe for people and pets?

The repellent uses Thermacell’s proprietary formula designed to deter mosquitoes in the airspace around the device, creating an EPA-reviewed protection zone. The mats are DEET-free and produce no smoke or open flame; they are intended for outdoor use only.

• DEET-free mats reduce the need for topical sprays on skin.
• No smoke or open flame—scent-free when operating correctly.
• Independently tested and reviewed by regulatory authorities for safety and effectiveness.
• Keep devices and refills out of reach of children and pets when not in use.

How easy is it to load and operate the refills?

Loading is straightforward: slide a mat under the repeller grate, insert and twist the fuel cartridge into place, then click the unit on. The device requires minimal maintenance—just switch it off when finished and replace mats and cartridges as indicated.

• Slide mat under the heating grill; twist in cartridge to install.
• Click the repeller 2–3 times to ignite heating; wait for full protection.
• No cleaning of insect remains—repellent keeps mosquitoes away rather than attracting them to the device.
• Store refills in a cool, dry place between uses.
