THERMOS FUNtainer Kids Food Jar — 296 ml Bluey insulated stainless steel with foldable spoon, leak-resistant

The THERMOS FUNtainer 10oz Kids Food Jar with foldable spoon is a vacuum-insulated stainless steel container that keeps kid-sized meals hot or cold for hours in a compact, lunchbox-friendly design.

Whether packing soup, pasta, yogurt, or fruit and peanut butter, this Bluey-themed 10-ounce food jar combines dependable insulation with kid-focused convenience. Built from 18/8 stainless steel and featuring a wide mouth, push-button lid, and integrated foldable spoon, it’s designed to be lightweight, durable, and easy for children to use at school or on outings. The jar is sweat-proof, leak-resistant when closed, and BPA-free for everyday family use.

How long will the food stay hot or cold in this kids’ jar?

The FUNtainer uses vacuum insulation to hold temperatures: hot foods stay warm for several hours and cold foods remain chilled longer than a non-insulated container. Actual time varies by starting temperature and ambient conditions, but this size is optimized for single-meal use.

• Insulation keeps hot foods warm up to around 5 hours and cold foods cool up to about 7 hours under typical conditions
• Preheat or pre-chill by filling with hot or cold tap water for 5–10 minutes to improve performance
• Wide mouth reduces heat loss while eating and makes filling or scooping simple

Is it easy for kids to open, eat from, and clean?

Yes—this jar was designed for small hands: the push-button lid releases quickly and the wide opening makes eating straightforward without extra dishes. The included foldable spoon stores inside the lid so utensils aren’t forgotten.

• Push-button lid for one-handed opening and reliable closure
• Integrated foldable spoon fits into the lid for compact storage
• Top-rack dishwasher safe, though hand washing is recommended for longevity

Will the jar survive school-day bumps and leaks?

Constructed from durable 18/8 stainless steel, the FUNtainer is built to withstand daily use and the occasional drop. When the lid is secured, the design is leak-resistant to keep lunches contained inside backpacks and lunch boxes.

• Double-wall stainless steel resists dents and everyday wear
• Leak-resistant lid when properly closed for mess-free transport
• Sweat-proof exterior prevents condensation on the outside of the jar

What types of foods are best for this 10oz food jar?

This size fits a single child’s portion for hot or cold items: think soups, stews, macaroni, yogurt with fruit, or dips and cut fruit with peanut butter. The wide mouth also makes it simple to pack layered meals or spoonable options without spills.

• Hot meals: small servings of soup, chili, or pasta
• Cold snacks: yogurt, berries, fruit salad, or dips and crackers
• Portable sides: oatmeal, mashed potatoes, or pudding for balanced lunches

Who is this for: Families and caregivers who want a compact, reliable lunch solution that keeps a child’s meal at the right temperature until mealtime. The THERMOS FUNtainer 10oz is ideal for elementary and middle school students, busy parents prepping ahead, and anyone seeking a kid-friendly insulated jar with a built-in utensil and proven durability.
