ThruNite Archer 2A C Rechargeable LED Torch — USB-C, Dual-Switch, 1018 Lumens (Cool White)

The ThruNite Archer 2A C is a compact, dual-switch rechargeable flashlight that delivers up to 1018 lumens with USB-C charging and optional 2×AA backup power.

Engineered for everyday carry and emergency readiness, the Archer 2A C blends a powerful LED emitter, a rugged aluminum body, and a user-friendly control layout. It’s designed to be small enough for pockets yet bright enough to illuminate long distances, with multiple power and mode options so you can adapt to planned outings or unexpected outages.

How bright is this light and how far will it reach?

The Archer 2A C puts out a maximum of 1018 lumens and focuses that output into a long, useful beam for distance viewing. With a reach of up to about 167 meters on high, it offers strong throw for trail checks, yard lighting, or scanning a parking lot.

• Peak output: 1018 lumens from high-performance LED
• Beam intensity: roughly 7000 candela for long throw
• Maximum distance: approximately 167 meters on full power

What are the charging and backup power options?

You can recharge the internal power via the built-in USB-C port for fast, convenient top-ups. If you’re off-grid or the battery runs out, the light accepts two standard AA cells, which still provide substantial brightness so you aren’t left in the dark.

• USB-C port for quick recharging without adapters
• Compatible with 2×AA cells when recharge isn’t available (batteries not included)
• AA mode delivers reduced yet effective output—usable in emergencies

How do the controls and modes work for everyday use?

Two separate switches give instant access to tactical bursts and everyday brightness levels without menus. The tail switch offers momentary or constant-on tactical activation while the side switch cycles Firefly, Low, Medium, and High plus one-press Strobe for attention or self-defense scenarios.

• Tail switch: instant on, momentary and constant modes for tactical use
• Side switch: cycles four everyday brightness levels and Strobe
• No complex menus—mode changes are fast and predictable

Is it durable and easy to carry day-to-day?

Built from aerospace-grade aluminum with a type-III hard-anodized finish, the ThruNite Archer 2A C is made to resist scratches, dust, and brief submersion. It’s also lightweight and compact, slipping into pockets, packs, and glove compartments without bulk.

• Housing: rugged aluminum with anti-abrasion coating
• Ingress protection: IPX8 water submersion resistance
• Size and weight: about 6 inches long and under 3.6 ounces—very pocketable

Who is this for? The Archer 2A C suits anyone who wants a reliable, versatile flashlight for daily carry, outdoor adventures, and home emergency kits. It appeals to commuters, campers, pet owners, first responders, and anyone who values a compact light with both high output and a practical AA backup option.
