Titleist Pro V1x golf balls — 1 dozen, high-launch distance with soft urethane feel

Titleist Pro V1x is a premium golf ball engineered for maximum distance, higher trajectory, and enhanced greenside control for skilled players.

The Pro V1x blends modern core and cover technologies to deliver a ball that flies higher, carries farther, and stops reliably on approaches. Designed for golfers who prioritize distance without sacrificing short-game feel, this model appears in the bags of many top professionals. The construction balances a fast dual-core, a speed-amplifying casing layer, and a soft urethane cover with a precisely tiled dimple pattern to stabilize and optimize ball flight.

How does Pro V1x increase distance and produce a higher flight?

Pro V1x achieves longer carry and a higher launch through its faster high-gradient dual core and an aerodynamic dimple design. The dual core generates ball speed off the face, while the 348 tetrahedral dimples promote a cleaner, more consistent trajectory in varied wind conditions.

• Faster high-gradient dual core for increased initial velocity.
• 348 spherically tiled tetrahedral dimples for stable, higher flight.
• Speed-amplifying casing layer reduces long-game spin for longer carry.

What short-game performance can I expect around the greens?

Despite its distance-focused design, the Pro V1x maintains strong greenside control thanks to a soft cast urethane elastomer cover. That cover works with the ball’s compression profile to deliver predictable spin and feel on chips, pitch shots, and bunker play.

• Soft urethane cover for increased wedge and chips spin.
• Responsive feel that helps manage touch on short shots.
• Consistent compression for repeatable greenside results.

Who benefits from choosing Pro V1x over other premium balls?

Pro V1x is best suited for players who want maximum distance and a higher ball flight while still keeping excellent around-the-green performance. It’s tailored for mid-to-low handicappers and competitive amateurs who generate enough clubhead speed to capitalize on the ball’s speed and spin characteristics.

• Players seeking greater carry and stopping power on approach shots.
• Golfers with moderate to high swing speeds who want reduced long-game spin.
• Competitors who need consistent flight in a variety of conditions.

What construction features should I know about before buying?

The Pro V1x combines several engineered layers to hit its performance targets: a high-gradient dual core for speed, a high-flex casing layer for reduced long-game spin, and a soft urethane cover for feel and spin control. The dimple pattern and material choices work together to produce predictable trajectories and consistent performance across shots.

• Dual core tuned for enhanced ball speed and iron/wedge spin control.
• High-flex casing layer that amplifies speed while lowering long-game spin.
• Precision 348 tetrahedral dimples for optimized aerodynamic stability.
• Soft cast urethane elastomer cover for reliable greenside bite.

Who is this for: Players who want the premium balance of maximum distance, a higher flight profile, and dependable short-game spin will find the Titleist Pro V1x an excellent choice. If you generate enough clubhead speed to take advantage of the ball’s advanced core and casing technologies, Pro V1x delivers a blend of distance and control used at the highest levels of the game.
