Tommee Tippee Ultra-Light StayPut silicone dummy — one-piece, breathable shield to reduce skin irritation

The Tommee Tippee Ultra-Light StayPut Pacifier is an ultra-lightweight, one-piece silicone pacifier engineered to stay comfortable, protect delicate skin, and soothe newborns and infants.

Designed by a brand with over 60 years of infant-care experience, this pacifier focuses on everyday practicality: minimal weight, a symmetrical nipple for correct positioning, breathable shield holes to reduce skin irritation, and a curved shape that fits gently between nose and chin. It’s made from BPA-free silicone and aims to combine safety, comfort, and ease of use for parents and caregivers.

How does this pacifier help keep skin irritation at bay?

The Ultra-Light StayPut Pacifier uses a curved shield with strategically placed air holes so moisture and air circulate around the skin. That reduces long periods of damp contact and lowers the chances of redness or chafing during extended use. The one-piece design also eliminates seams where dirt and residue can accumulate.

• Shield air holes promote airflow to prevent trapped moisture
• Curved shield shape follows nose-to-chin contours for less rubbing
• Seamless one-piece silicone reduces crevices that trap dirt

Is the nipple shape suitable for newborns and correct positioning?

This pacifier features a symmetrical silicone nipple so it can be placed either way up and still sit correctly in the mouth. The profile is designed to be gentle on developing mouths while giving consistent comfort when sucked. That makes it easy for tired parents to pop it in quickly without worrying about orientation.

• Symmetrical nipple design ensures correct fit whichever side faces up
• Soft silicone material that balances resilience with gentle feel
• Suitable for newborns, babies, and toddlers as a soothing aid

What makes this model "ultra-light" and why does that matter?

Tommee Tippee markets this as their lightest one-piece silicone pacifier: 20% lighter than their previous Ultra-Light Original and about 50% lighter than the leading one-piece silicone competitor. Less weight reduces tugging on the face and helps the pacifier stay in place, which can mean fewer interruptions when a baby is settling to sleep.

• Significantly lighter than comparable one-piece silicone pacifiers
• Reduced pull on delicate facial skin for improved comfort
• Lightweight design helps stay in place during sleep and movement

How should I care for and clean this pacifier?

The one-piece silicone construction makes cleaning straightforward: rinse, boil, or follow sterilizer instructions per your preference. Because there are no detachable parts, it’s easier to ensure all surfaces are hygienic before giving it back to baby. Replace pacifiers if you notice damage or heavy wear.

• One-piece silicone is quick to rinse and sterilize
• Compatible with standard sterilizing methods and boiling
• Inspect regularly and replace if any cracking or deformation occurs

Who is this for: Parents and caregivers seeking a lightweight, low-profile silicone pacifier that prioritizes skin comfort and easy use. It’s especially suited to newborns and infants where minimal weight and breathable shielding can reduce irritation. Choose this pacifier if you want a simple, hygienic, BPA-free option from a trusted brand with decades of infant-care expertise.
