TP-Link Deco 7 BE23 Wi-Fi 7 Mesh System 3-Pack — Dual-Band 3.6 Gbps, Dual 2.5G Ports, MLO

The TP‑Link Deco 7 BE23 is a Wi‑Fi 7 mesh system (3‑pack) that delivers up to 3.6 Gbps and whole‑home coverage for up to 6,500 sq. ft., with multi‑gig wired ports and advanced mesh features for stable, low‑latency connections.

Designed to bring the new Wi‑Fi 7 standard into everyday homes, the Deco 7 BE23 combines Multi‑Link Operation (MLO), 4‑stream dual‑band throughput, and AI‑driven mesh management to keep dozens of devices running smoothly. Each pack includes three compact Deco units, multiple power adapters, and an Ethernet cable so you can deploy a high‑capacity network that supports gaming, 4K streaming, remote work, and smart home devices.

How fast and reliable is the Deco 7 BE23 for modern devices?

The Deco 7 BE23 uses Wi‑Fi 7 features like 4K‑QAM, Multi‑RUs, and MLO to maximize throughput and reduce contention across devices. It can deliver combined wireless speeds up to 3.6 Gbps and handles high‑density environments with up to 150 connected clients.

• Up to 2882 Mbps on 5 GHz and 688 Mbps on 2.4 GHz across 4 streams.
• MLO for simultaneous multi‑link transmissions to lower latency and improve stability.
• 4‑stream architecture supports demanding clients like gaming consoles and Wi‑Fi 7 phones.

Can I use wired connections and multi‑gig internet with this mesh?

Yes — every Deco BE23 node includes two 2.5 Gbps WAN/LAN ports to accept multi‑gig internet or provide high‑speed wired backhaul to compatible switches, NAS units, or a multi‑gig modem. Wired backhaul works alongside wireless MLO to strengthen the mesh and reduce interference.

• Dual 2.5 Gbps ports per unit for high‑bandwidth wired devices.
• Support for wired or wireless backhaul to optimize performance.
• Easy integration with existing routers or modems in AP mode.

What network management and security features are included?

Deco BE23 provides an app‑driven setup and ongoing AI‑Roaming to keep devices on the best node automatically. TP‑Link HomeShield adds parental controls, device monitoring, and optional enhanced protections to manage access across family and IoT devices.

• AI‑Roaming for seamless handoff and single SSID experience.
• HomeShield functions: parental controls, IoT security, and network insights.
• Built‑in VPN client/server support, firewall filters, and WPA3 compatibility.

How easy is the Deco 7 BE23 to install and expand?

Set up is guided by the Deco app and usually takes minutes; add more Deco units anytime to broaden coverage. Deco devices are broadly compatible with other TP‑Link Deco models, letting you scale a mesh network without replacing existing hardware.

• Quick, app‑guided installation with step‑by‑step instructions.
• Backward compatible with other Deco nodes for flexible expansion.
• Works with Alexa and Google Assistant for voice control of basic functions.

Who is this for: The Deco 7 BE23 (3‑pack) is aimed at households that need future‑ready Wi‑Fi with strong coverage and multi‑gig wired options — families with many streaming devices, gamers seeking lower latency, remote workers requiring reliable video calls, and smart‑home owners who want segregated IoT networks. If you need robust throughput across a large home and want a mesh that scales with modern Wi‑Fi 7 devices, this system is a practical, hands‑on choice.
