Tulvera Stone Dish Drying Mat – Diatomaceous Earth Tray 15.7"x11.8" | Fast-Absorbing, Heat-Resistant

The Tulvera Stone Dish Drying Mat is a compact, 100% natural diatomaceous earth tray that soaks up water instantly to keep countertops dry and tidy.

Designed for small kitchens, apartments, and anyone who prefers a minimalist countertop, this 15.7” x 11.8” Tulvera mat combines natural diatomite stone with a subtle engraved wave pattern for both function and style. The porous stone surface wicks away moisture quickly so cups, glasses, and small cookware dry in seconds without pooling water. It’s heat resistant, low-maintenance, and made from food-grade material so it doubles as a tray for hot pots, pet bowls, or plant saucers while maintaining a refined, modern look.

How does the diatomite stone dry dishes so fast?

The diatomite is formed from fossilized silica shells that create microscopic pores. Those pores draw water into the stone and disperse it across a large surface area, accelerating evaporation so items dry much faster than on cloth or silicone mats.

• 100% natural, food-grade diatomaceous earth with high porosity for rapid absorption
• Thin 0.4" profile allows fast airflow and quick evaporation
• Engraved wave texture improves drainage and prevents pooling

What surfaces and items can I use this mat for?

The Tulvera mat is versatile: use it under washed dishes, mugs, or glassware, as a resting surface for hot pans, or as a clean saucer for pet bowls and indoor plant pots. Its heat-resistant, durable composition handles everyday kitchen tasks.

• Small dish racks, single mugs, and cutlery
• Hot cookware bases, teapots, and kettles (short-term heat contact)
• Pet food/water bowls and potted plant saucers to prevent countertop moisture

How do I clean and care for the stone mat?

Maintenance is simple: rinse or wipe the surface for daily cleaning and use the included sanding tool to lift stubborn marks. Avoid prolonged contact with dark-staining liquids like coffee or red wine to keep the mat visually pristine.

• Wipe with a damp cloth or rinse under water for routine cleaning
• Use the supplied sanding pad for tougher stains, then wipe away residue
• Let air dry occasionally in open space; a faint earthen scent is normal and fades over time

How big is the mat and where does it fit best in my kitchen?

At 15.7" x 11.8" and 0.4" thick, this compact mat is sized for smaller counters, apartment kitchens, or next to sink corners. It fits small drying racks or acts as a portable tray you can move as needed.

• Compact footprint designed for limited counter space and compact apartments
• Low profile blends seamlessly with contemporary and minimalist kitchens
• Lightweight and easy to reposition for temporary uses or travel

Who is this for: The Tulvera Stone Dish Drying Mat is ideal for renters, apartment dwellers, tiny-house owners, and anyone who values quick-drying, low-maintenance kitchen tools with a refined look.
