TYR Racing Swim Goggles Blackops 140 EV – Gold/Navy Mirrored Low-Profile, Anti-Fog UV Protection

TYR Blackops 140 EV Racing Goggles are low-profile mirrored swim goggles engineered to cut drag, protect from UV, and deliver a watertight, comfortable fit for competitive and recreational swimmers.

Designed for swimmers who want a fast, secure feel without sacrificing comfort, the TYR Blackops 140 EV blends a streamlined frame with mirrored, anti-fog lenses and adjustable fittings. The goggle's low-profile silhouette reduces resistance in the water while the Durafit gaskets create a pressure-free seal. Built for both men and women, this model works equally well in pools and open-water settings thanks to UVA/UVB protection and glare-reducing mirrored coatings.

How do these goggles reduce drag and help me swim faster?

The Blackops 140 EV uses a low-profile racing design that keeps the lenses close to your face, cutting down on water resistance and turbulence. A narrower frame and contoured lens shape let you maintain a sleek stroke and a more hydrodynamic position.

• Low-profile frame keeps lenses near the face for less drag
• Streamlined silhouette designed for competitive starts and turns
• Lightweight materials reduce overall bulk and swimmer fatigue

Are the lenses suitable for outdoor swim sessions and bright pools?

Yes — the mirrored lenses reduce glare and offer full UVA/UVB protection so you can swim comfortably under strong sunlight or bright indoor lights. The anti-fog treatment maintains visual clarity during long workouts, and the mirror finish helps cut down on reflected light.

• Mirrored coating minimizes glare from sun and bright pool lights
• Anti-fog treatment keeps vision clear during extended use
• UVA/UVB protection shields eyes from harmful rays outdoors

Will these goggles fit my face and stay watertight without pressure?

The Durafit gaskets form a soft, secure seal that prevents leaks while avoiding uncomfortable pressure around the eye sockets. A custom fit system, including adjustable nose bridges and dual straps, allows you to dial in fit for different face shapes and head sizes.

• Durafit gaskets provide a comfortable, watertight seal
• Adjustable nose bridges let you customize interocular spacing
• Dual straps deliver stable hold for starts, turns, and sprints

How durable and comfortable are these goggles across training and racing?

Built with lightweight performance materials, the Blackops 140 EV balances durability with comfort to withstand repeated training sessions and competitive use. The construction limits fatigue while the components—straps, nose bridge, and gaskets—are made to hold their shape over time.

• Durable frame and straps resist wear from chlorine and regular use
• Lightweight build reduces strain during long sets or races
• Components designed for consistent, repeatable fit session to session

Who is this for: Swimmers who value speed and a precise fit—competitive athletes, triathletes, and serious recreational swimmers—will appreciate the TYR Blackops 140 EV Racing Goggles. They suit both men and women who need mirrored lenses for bright conditions, want a low-profile racing shape to reduce drag, and prefer adjustable features that customize fit without adding bulk. If you need a durable, performance-focused goggle that transitions seamlessly between training and competition, the Blackops 140 EV is built for that purpose.
